    Retirements/club Changes 2013/14

As a Mernda player I feel I must comment. Mernda is a tiny dot on the map that is a club with over 20 flags to it names. Not bad for a mob who in the early days had only 15 blokes to pick from. Yes I agree Paul is a DVCA legend but to say without him we would be bottom feeders is just plain rude...

    DVCA: Player movements and rumours

Sounds good in theory having th new pitch next to the turf wicket but come a rainy day they are no chance of getting a start as the turf area will be muddier than morrabin in july 1980!! at least other grounds round the dvca have some chance of getting on despite some bad weather

Mernda (who cares?) Mate just interested to know what this is all about.. Mernda may not be one of the big strong dvca clubs but they are sure as hell one of the toughest sides to beat come satdys. They are ultra competitive despite having an average at best batting line up and one superstar...

    DVCA Barclay Shield 09/10

Re: DVCA Barclay Shield 09/10 Merndas track inst that bad Tongs. When we played there earlier in the year it played fairly true. A couple jumped off a length but no one got out because of it! I think its all in your head. Did you get out because of the pitch last week did ya? Sour grapes?

    DVCA Barclay Shield 09/10

Re: DVCA Barclay Shield 09/10 Mernda won by 2 runs after Research got within 2 runs with 2 wickets in hand. So much for a lacklustre game Tongs!

    DVCA Barclay Shield 09/10

Re: DVCA Barclay Shield 09/10 Fair go tongs... Although mernda have started terribly this season they are the reining premiers and to suggest without Baker the game would be a dud is disrespectful not only to mernda but research as well.. Pull your head in

    DVCA: Barclay Shield

Re: DVCA: Barclay Shield Word is Merndas ground is impecable.. close to the best surface in the comp.... On the other hand the pitch is virtually unplayable!! jumps off a good length one ball then stays low the next. Anyone else found this to be the case:confused:
