Sounds good in theory having th new pitch next to the turf wicket but come a rainy day they are no chance of getting a start as the turf area will be muddier than morrabin in july 1980!! at least other grounds round the dvca have some chance of getting on despite some bad weather

Mernda (who cares?) Mate just interested to know what this is all about.. Mernda may not be one of the big strong dvca clubs but they are sure as hell one of the toughest sides to beat come satdys. They are ultra competitive despite having an average at best batting line up and one superstar...

Re: DVCA Barclay Shield 09/10 Merndas track inst that bad Tongs. When we played there earlier in the year it played fairly true. A couple jumped off a length but no one got out because of it! I think its all in your head. Did you get out because of the pitch last week did ya? Sour grapes?

Re: DVCA: Barclay Shield Word is Merndas ground is impecable.. close to the best surface in the comp.... On the other hand the pitch is virtually unplayable!! jumps off a good length one ball then stays low the next. Anyone else found this to be the case:confused:
