Spring in WA is glorious, the best of the seasons.
Clear skies and temperatures between 23C and 31C this week.
I'm off for a motorbike ride tomorrow having done all my housework, gardening and diy stuff this weekend gone.
With a wide grin Mr Hitchcock closed his office foyer's glass door behind Miss Glenys Stout giving her an affectionate little farewell wave. 'later 😘'
Mr Groton was still standing hat in a hand and a $100 note in the other. Mrs Celeste Brighton the savvy secretary boldly said "Mr Hitchcock, Mr...
I saw the grommet but not the rag Thomas. That was a fire risk.
The little black lugs are over modern cars. I once noticed a few around my car's engine bay and battery cover were missing or broken so I went and bought some from Toyota at $3 each! I bought spares too.
The rag was a big let down...
I heard today on the Aussie Health Report with Dr Norman Swan another silly edict that Trump promises to make.
He's going to stop having fluoride put into the US's water supply.
Countries that do that, with a few exceptions like Germany, end up with an almost toothless society. Kids of 8 having...
Now that's not cheap Thomas.
Many Australians take out private health insurance with options for dental work and glasses.
Not me though. I have a slush fund to cover a lot of contingencies and find that cheaper in the long term. Glasses last me years and years and I get the best multifocals.
No...
I just heard today Putin did congratulate Trump on his victory.
That surprised me.😳
Nevertheless Putin praised Trump's courage after the first assassination attempt. 😎
I wonder what Putin's scheming, and if the Bromance is back on?
I'll give it to Trump, in that moment he was courageous...
Is it part of an engine?
A cooking appliance?
A machine of some sort?
Are it components metal and tough plastic/carbon fibre?
I can see a grommet in the photo.
My Corolla has lots of grommets.
That's cheap by Aussie prices Thomas, especially the crown which would cost me $2k +.
In recent years I got on to a dentist who I went to School with. He was old school and didn't believe in crowns, rather really tough fillings at a fifth the cost. I've never had issue with his work but sad that...

That worked out well for you Jessica, well done.
35 + 80= £115= $A224 which is fairly cheap for Austrailia.
My cat and dog had a rumble the other day and he sprained his shoulder. $137 for quick exam and medicine.
So sorry to hear that Thomas.
There will be ripples of change from an unpredictable trumpet.
I wish your Germany well in weathering this storm, and all the other turmoil happening. Europe needs a strong Germany.
There's so much chatter now about Trump's total win, it's almost overwhelming. Europe and especially Ukraine are worried, Putin's still grumpy, China's stoic, ... At least the stock markets rose.
Coincidently one of my back top molars is feeling tender but maybe just related to another issue?
Dental work in Australia is mostly unfunded and expensive.
I have a slush fund for such contingencies rather than more insurance policies.
That gives me incentive to look after my ivories as best...
Looking flustered and emotional Glenys said to Mr Groton and all "I had no idea it was a fake note Mr Groton, truly. I'm so sorry
Thank you for your peaceful gesture Mr Hitchcock, it's gracious of you, and I'll look forward to working with you Mr Groton.
Unseen was Mr Hitchcock's secretary...
Kevin o seven is well known for his potty mouth and I hope he stays as our US embarassador. ... ambadsadore...?
I heard he's deleted all his on line vitriolic posts about Trump.
Still, Rudd is no yes man and will stand up to Trump as needed.
If Trump "fires" him we should send Tony Abbot to...
I too know how their electoral college system works and you're spot on Thomas saying "winner takes all". Pennsylvania has 19 electoral votes and as that big state went red all 19 of the electoral votes went to Trump.
It's an archaic system very open to gerrymandering which the Republicans have...
On the way out of Mr Hitchcock's office Glenys was confronted by a stern looking elderly Mr Groton with the fake $50 bank note in his hand.
Mr Hitchcock's secretary Mrs Celeste Brighton sat at her desk glaring at Miss Glenys Stout.
