Guess What I'm Watching Tonight 🎥

I had no idea so I looked it up. If I’ve got the right one, that movie was released 13 years before I was born [emoji28].

To be fair, I’m not sure what it is, but England “feels” hotter (the southern half) of Australia at the same temperature. Especially Perth, it can by 28C here but if there’s a westerly coming from Antartica it’s COLD. I guess England is just a bit more “stagnant” and humid.

Posted 16 hours ago and I haven’t seen that anywhere else. 99% sure that’s fake.

It’s certainly not sharing any with Perth

Yeah they have a big species of blowfish they try to eat for some reason. It’s REALLY poisonous too.

Do you like raw/sashimi fish? I personally love it, and any sporty fish if you cut some really thin slices straight after you catch it and put it with some soy and wasabi it’s just delicious.

Yeah, we caught a few Mack tuna on that trip specifically, there’s also northern bluefin (not the HUGE ones) and long tail tuna. Down where I am in Perth we have yellowfin tuna but I’ve never been offshore fishing here despite living here my whole life. There’s also an unbelievable amount of...

panko crumbed cod is so delicious. I’m lucky enough to have cousins in Darwin so I occasionally go up there with them and my dad on a fishing trip, it almost ruins the fishing down here because it’s so insane up there. My biggest fish ever (115cm Spanish mackerel) and my dad with a 80-90cm...

Not down in Perth, we get a few sharks though.

We also have REALLY strict environmental regulations (thankfully) so companies get in potentially business ending amounts of trouble for contaminating water

No just spin fishing using a soft plastic lure, thankfully the water in around Perth is pretty clean and I usually only fish in salt/brackish water so I don’t deal with potentially bad fresh water. There’s been a couple of algal blooms over the years which make it bad but it’s very temporary.

Absolutely, fresh fish is one of my favourite foods

Although I will say, cricket is already enough of a money burner, but there’s REAL potential to throw some money into lure fishing.

Been getting back into fishing recently and trying to use lures a lot more rather than bait which is almost all I did as a kid. Caught a nice size black bream off a kayak next to some cliffs on the swan river about an hour ago, should go down nicely.

Huh weird, I followed you before I tried to message you before and it still didn’t work. It let me send it then though so it probably just hadn’t registered that I followed you yet.

Not sure what the issue is but I think you might have PMs turned off. I’m trying to pm you but it’s saying I can’t.

Sometimes I wish we could connect back over to our eastern states partners at times. But we usually have the better end of it as far as weather is concerned.

I can just paste the YouTube links in here before I start if you’re fine with that. Idm sharing my name on here, pretty sure if you sift through the legspin thread you’ll find it if you really wanted too. Still got a couple of months before season starts anyway.
