Re: Next Year My pick for next year is Brighton. Mainly because they are made up completely of Yr 11's and 10's, they won't lose anyone, and good players like Nathan Plumridge, Michael Singh and Jack Moffit all performing.

Most Runs and Wickets Who is leading Most runs and wickets this season? I know that Gotch from CGS Made 89no on Friday, and a ton last week, but who else has scored? Who has taken wickets? Bett, Everett, Coleman?

Round 5 Anyone got any results? Was everybody playing one-dayers this week? I know that Haileybury were all out for 96 against BGS.

Re: Broken Bat aka "The Sapling" I found that sort of tape is very effective. I think its called fibreglass tape. I put some over the cracks on my new Kahuna, and they've held up really well.

Re: Whats the fastest you have faced? Fastest i've faced is around 145kph (90mph) on the bowling machine. Was too fast for me, struggled to play freely. I can comfortably play deliveries at 80-85mph though.

Re: Hitting the ball outside leg.. Matty, I had this same problem at the start of this season. The key to being able to hit legside deliveries is to aim to use the pace of the ball and turn it away, rather than to try and hit it hard.

Re: T20 Batting Tips? The thing that I see mainly in T20, is batsmen trying to hit every ball for 4 or 6, and pre-meditate a slog shot, no matter what the ball is. This is entirely the wrong way to go about it. Slogging in T20 is more the mindset that the batsmen has, than hitting every ball...

Re: Swing. If you are playing against swing bowling, I find it easier to play the ball as late as you can.
