    VTCA Season 2019/20

Can anyone confirm the rumour that Glen Eira council are putting they curators and the volunteers of cricket clubs in Glen Eira thru a course on how to use a cricket roller and cylinder mower. I just hope this just a rumour as with the season starting in 2 weeks this is the last thing curators...

Cricket Victoria - South East Bayside League

Cricket Victoria - South East Bayside League

Maybe a joke of a competition but seem to get games up at the start of the season where other competitions can’t plus seem to attract clubs from Sub District Premier ECA and the CSB which must mean something.

Cricket Victoria - South East Bayside League

Cricket Victoria seems too only competition that I can see starting on the 1st or 2nd week of October is the Mercantile Cricket Association as a lot of they grounds are within the boundary’s of the city of Melbourne and they seem to get them ready before most competitions.

Cricket Victoria - South East Bayside League

Well I hope that applies to all grades of Premier not just suburban cricket. If cricket is to be put back it should apply to all cricket as it would be a slap in the face to local cricket if Premier goes ahead and others get put back.

Cricket Victoria - South East Bayside League

Yes that is true unless Juniors have excess to a 2nd ground with synthetic on it as councils will want to protect Turf wickets as much as possible.

Cricket Victoria - South East Bayside League

Won’t be hard as there won’t be local senior football as the VAFA is gone this season and the Southern are a joke plus are broke I think the decision to play by them will be taken out of they hands.

Cricket Victoria - South East Bayside League

With most local football comps not starting local cricket can go back to a normal start. Plus any word on the CSB 20/20 season could that be scrapped this year as I’m hearing Glen Eira Council could be adding an extra charge in fees for Tuesday or will they move to Sunday’s which mean the women...

After hearing this I suppose Hampton will be fighting with Beaumaris to take Moorabbin in Sub District when they move down the CSB or if it gets real bad for them the MCA. As for beating Caulfield you wont beat them Oakleigh the same but you would be competitive against both clubs.

Cricket Victoria - South East Bayside League

Yes it is especially at 3rd X1 and 4th X1 but I hear the MCA with grounds around the City of Melbourne might be starting the 1st Saturday in October with 20/20 games to be played but with the 2nd coming of Corona cricket might be put back again especially if AFL Victoria start crying again and...

Cricket Victoria - South East Bayside League

With the latest news with Corona I hope Cricket Victoria doesn’t try and put back local cricket back again but let Premier Cricket start on time.

Cricket Victoria - South East Bayside League

All you need is it to be dry in September and October and if this not the case councils won’t be able to start due it to be too wet as you can guarantee football will destroy grounds and wicket tables thru training and matches on it. But premier cricket will be right as if you don’t play premier...

Cricket Victoria - South East Bayside League

Hate to tell you suburban cricket has been at war with Cricket Victoria for years. That's why clubs should look at maybe a cricket party to be formed s so all cricketers male and female , senior or junior that play Turf or Synthetic in ALL competitions across the state should be treated as...

Cricket Victoria - South East Bayside League

What’s the odds they will be in the CSB championship grade in season 2021/22 with the main ground used for future CSB/SECA games there on turf? Lucky Dandenong CC pulled out of any alignment with them a few years back otherwise they be on the sinking ship with them.

Cricket Victoria - South East Bayside League

Because Cricket Victoria only care for premier clubs no one else and remember that. They don’t care for clubs in VTCA,CSB,ECA,DDCA or SECA that why people who are involved at a local club or according the 3rd rate piece of shit that I ran into from St.kilda CC that told me local clubs are made...

Not questioning his work ethic but been the guy who’s been there since the start with CSB in his role I hate to see all his good work go up in smoke because of the corona virus.

Cricket Victoria - South East Bayside League

Well that will upset a few people especially Mr Anderson. Maybe CSB need to hold tight cut back no 20/20 competition on a Tuesday night and maybe no new clubs joining the CSB unless current clubs fall over ,take a year recess ,merge or move to another association EG:ECA,MCA to cut there own cost
