While there is no doubt that Lower Plenty lost their best player to Eltham, people seem to be ignoring how bad Mill Park are. Last year they had the lowest percentage and avoided relegation by 3 points.

Toddy has been playing DVCA for decades. I've never played in a game where a player has been suspended. Perhaps this rule will encourage clubs to weed out ferals and send them back to Jika.

I agree. Its all part of the game. Bowling a team out shouldn't grant you an advantage. What if you lose a wicket 5 mins before tea? You have to come out and bat. What if its rainy? You might have to go on and off multiple times, sometimes only batting for 5 or 10 minutes.

Toddy couldn't agree more. While the promotion / relegation system is good, one up one down just doesn't even up the grades enough. The DVCA executive have the power to put teams in any grade they like. A reshuffle would be a good thing.
