Not sure how close your figures are boys, but who cares,it's all a bit of fun anyway, btw I heard Rummans was on twice your estimate.
Westy,i know exactly what you mean,I recall every Subbies club in the West chased Tokka O'keefe when he left Footscray but they were all blown out of the water by...
Funny how these amounts snowball, with respect i do not know how these figures would be common knowledge,at the club I'm associated with only the inner sanctum know how much the coach and or professional is paid viz the president, the secretary and the treasurer.
No-one else needs or indeed wants...
would be an ideal fit for a club like Hoppers,30y.o,all rounder, huge hitter, and to think he was going round with Wyndhamvale in the old Willy comp 5 years ago.
Certainly had a meteoric rise.
I watched all Williamstown's innings and they had that run chase under control virtually from ball one, clearly the superior side won and probably would have if it had been a 1,2,3,or 4 day game,at least both sides had a chance on a level playing field, congrats to Willy, they represented the West...
If I was Caulfield I'd be very nervous,I've seen it happen many times the side that goes through undefeated and looks unbeatable fall at the last.
I agree the N/W final is a toss up,both sides make a lot of runs,Willy bat down to 10 which might give them an edge, should be a beauty, the early...
After last weeks effort,0 from 3 not sure if I should be tipping, but I'll go Willy and Plenty Valley in NW and the 2 logical picks in the SE,Caulfield and Oakleigh.
The toss will be vital in all games, whoever bats first could have a big advantage with the predicted weather.
I think Willy would fancy their chances anyway but that would make the task a bit easier.
Being from the west I'm hoping for a Willy win, always an hospitable mob and a great place toplay on a warm day.
This is in sharp contrast to all the articles I've read about how PV are going to be attacking and how they've got guys pushing up from the 2s,I think you're being a bit naughty here, reverse psychology?
Be interesting to see when the sides are published unless you want to name names now?
On paper at least the top 6 would be favourites to win this week leaving Werribee and Hoppers to miss out, doesn't always work out like that though.Wonder what happened at Werribee, they had Taylors Lakes in trouble and no more play, must have had a local downpour?
Just fyi Brenton,Williamstown...
Melton"s protest against Ivanhoe was upheld last night which drops Ivanhoe to 10th and extends Melton's lead to 5 points over Willy.
I guess if you don't cover your wicket you don't have a leg to stand on and the right decision was made.
