Why should the clubs who can get wickets prepared be penalised because of the clubs who cannot? Even if we only get 10 games of cricket going this weekend across the competition , that is 220 people playing sport. We are already starting on the 2nd weekend of October and now we want to give that...

with the good weather forecast late in the week, we should wait as long as possible before we call it off. Even allow teams to play who can get a wicket up and let the other clubs play one day games in week 2 as needed

I believe this award should go to an 'amateur' player - preferably an Aussie in all honesty. I don't think it was intended to be won by overseas professionals

I wouldn't get too carried away with the strength in the north - the east group was superior with Mount Waverley & Bayswater playing off in the grand final and Croydon & Plenty Valley being the losing semi finalists. No doubt the The North group has some strong clubs and their battles with the...

That is a great season from Hamish and he is clearly one of the big reasons that Croydon have had such a fine season

Great effort by Yaraville to get 4 teams into the semi finals. Matthew Love and David Wolfe (and others I am sure) have done an amazing job to lift that club up the various ladders

It will be interesting to see if Bayswater can get a wicket up? That ground hosted the EFL grand final 11 days ago, which the mighty Balwyn Tigers won. If Bayswater can get a wicket ready, there aren't too many excuses for the rest of the comp, given the favourable weather conditions

I didnt think a club could annoy me more on social media than Plenty Valley but well done to the boys from Roxborough Park - you are the new number 1

I could not disagree more strongly. It is a great opportunity for over 300 kids to play turf cricket. The format with 6 games over 45 overs is fantastic. Even if the dividend was stopped, dropping the Craig competition would be a huge mistake.

The rep team is totally made up from last years team of the year. Should be a good chance to get a win this time

Allen is a star - one of the best under 19 players in the whole subbies comp. I believe he played a game for the St Kilda 2nds recently
