Sorry for the late reply mate. I think it would be great, there are too many kids out there with potential who dont bother with Cricket and go along with the crowd for football etc...I saw it myself with a friend of mine at school who was absolutely amazing but gave up the bat for a football...

The way I see it is as follows: England - inconsistent and this probably comes with the players chosen and some of their commitment to the team...look at the Pietersen incident. Also they dont seem to have a REAL leader to get them going like they have in the past (just my opinion)...

I think Ireland are improving greatly, but the long break will hinder progress. The fact that they may not be able to get the games is not going to help them one bit. I do think we will see more great improvements from the Irish but its going to take time.

I didnt see this thread and posted about this, he is out of the coma..brilliant news... but not out the woods yet. It was an induced coma too so with a fractured skull and puntured lung he has a long way back to recovery...my thoughts are with him and his family.

Your right, we werent that hot against the Kiwis and too be fair the overall series score flattered us...I think its going to be interesting to see who actually turns up for the Ashes and plays.
