Re: MMVCA General Cricket Chat 2009/10 This time of year is an absolute monty for weather to have a say....just hope a team isn't pressured into tossing a coin & deciding a game. Fingers crossed for a common sense decisions made by the comp & umpires so the best team wins this year!!

Re: MMVCA General Cricket Chat In a nutshell, & I am on the committee within a club who voted NO. I have played cricket for over 20 years starting in the FCA, VTCA, I can say that the NWCA is very much a matting comp & we are a Turf comp...end of story!!

Re: MMVCA General Cricket Chat Referring to the other game played. The main issue I have is that their is no real advantage for finishing higher on the ladder with the current rules. The top side puts the covers down, takes the covers off, marks the lines, does the pitch report on all days...
