re: North A and B 10/11
So you'd tip the winless St Andrews to beat Jacana if the game was at St.Andrew's home ground? Who have they picked up to suggest an upset like that, or just a gut feel?
re: North A and B 10/11
North B1 four or five years ago was tougher, no question.
For 3 seasons Greenvale dominated the home & away season but couldn't win the Grand Final to take them up a grade. They were (& still are) a very good side and were clearly too good to play at B1 level (they...
re: North A and B 10/11
Good round of matches on paper coming up in Nth B1.
Abers v Aber Park should be a beauty for top spot going into XMas, great fightback by Aber park last week to knock over Jacana, and Abers had a close shave against Flemington.
Jacana v Flem you'd expect Jacana to...

Yeah Aber Park v jacana should go down to the wire there with an outright result possible on day 2.
Abers & Flemington could be another thriller, the weather might play a big part again next week.

Result: MATCH DRAWN (RESULT DISPUTED) Points: Jacana: 6.09Aberfeldie: 5.73
That's still all that they've got on the VTCA website. Will be interesting to see what happens with that...
re: North A and B 10/11
Anyone able to say what happened in the Jacana v Aberfeldie match on the weekend?
Result disputed on VTCA website, but looks like no play took place at all on day 2???
re: North A and B 10/11
Still early days in the season and the way the fixture goes you only play the same 4 sides before X-mas then 3 afterwards. So a lot will depend on the run-home for finals positions etc..
Kingy Baps were always pretty competitive so no surprise to see them holding...
Re: VTCA Cricket - General Chat
When the rule was first brought in (pre-season) it was all outlined on the league website. The same rule applies to all clubs though, regardless of what division they're in.
Re: VTCA Cricket - General Chat
Any update on this yet?
Our delegate who went to the meeting on Monday night said he did not hear anybody mentioning any possible breaches of the points rule.
Is there a separate meeting for North and South clubs maybe?
Re: VTCA Cricket - General Chat
Surely this is pure BS from you.
What club would be stupid enough to break a rule that has only been in place for a few weeks (and is the easiest to police as other clubs can do the math as well)? Who did you 'hear' it from?
