Under the new promotion/relegation rules these would have been the teams (other than the bottom placed team) since 2010 14/15 McKinnon 9th 13/14 Keilor 11th 12/13 McKinnon 11th 11/12 South Caulfield 9th 10/11 McKinnon 9th 09/10 McKinnon 6th* *only two south teams in division

Middle park will be up there but we (McKinnon 2nd XI) beat Parkdale United 1sts when we played South A1 in 2013/14 so not sure how good they will be..

18 team south & north/west seconds is locked in. Fixture to be weighted so stronger & senior div clubs play each other Two "Premierships" will be on offer. 1st to 4th on the ladder will play for the SENIOR SOUTH or NORTH/WEST premiership 5th to 8th will play for the SOUTH or NORTH/WEST...

4 or 2 day grand final not the issue here.. Just finding a way to keep an 18 team comp relevant for more than just a handful of sides by December. A top 8 would achieve this but we only have 3 weekends to play finals so the 4 day final would have to make way just for the 18 team grade.

The 18 team division with a top 4 is a disgrace, at the very least have a top 8 and just play a 2 day grand final..

It's our 2s and 3s, our 4s will be south c1. Would be better if the snr seconds comp was split into a 10 and 8 team grade in both the north and south.. Would be impossible to play everyone and if the top 4 remained you could have your season finished by November!

Well the gradings the VTCA has put out has kingston-hawthorn in south div but parkdale untied and middle parks 1sts go to south seconds which is a division of 18 teams including two McKinnon teams... Interesting.

2nd eleven cricket is spliting north/south, divisions not decided as yet.

Looks as though Kingston/Hawthorns 5ths & 6th are joining the south set up which will help a lot, interesting to see where the vtca will place them?

Not many clubs south of moorabbin that are fielding or could field four sub district standard Saturday turf teams. Probably only Beaumaris. Mordi only have one turf ground.

South Caulfield also only have 3 Saturday senior teams, Beaumaris & McKinnon have four Saturday teams, equally good facility's and even stronger junior set ups... Would have a case, especially Beauy with no subbies clubs around them..

Beer has to play premier to get his big bash contract.. And I'd be surprised if he didn't return to Malvern when his finished.

There's probably enough talent out there but it's playing 80 over days, minimal if any Sundays, less training and often getting paid for their trouble!

No paid players in south seconds or A2 and one umpire @ $65 a day per team is hardly breaking the bank!
