yeh well said would love a proper split between the formats. One less club in South B would make it a 5 or 6 team grade i think? Mite have to make South Div and South A 12 team comps and drop South B...
Local cricket in the uk is only one dayers and the english are doing just fine... its great rock up have a bat a bowl get a result get on the sauce bring on next week!! .... oh and repeat 26 times...
The VTCA cant force anyone to use Primary Edge. We are not franchises of the league so while they say you have to they cant legally force you.. we use a seperate supplier at mckinnon and have not had any issues..
two seasons ago premier cricket did that (put a petition out) it was done online and open to everyone and anyone involved in the competition. They had some around 800 hits and it covered everything from starting times, overs, restrictions, balls, uniform etc.. the results were used straight away...
i agree, too much cricket eveywhere at the moment i think they need to play less in all forms.. make games more meaningful..
sad to see the big bash go away from the states was awesome getting behind the vics at the g with 30,000 others. will be great to watch T20 at etihad stadium though.
On standard of cricket alone i reckon we have them covered our relegation/promotion system keeps the senior div very strong and the other divisions very competitive which subbies dont have the difference from top to bottom is massive, just need to update some of our rules like over/field...
I can confirm that Ash Russell hasnt played with us but made plenty of runs against McKinnon! and the the longer he stays in the CMCA the better i reckon!! ;)
And the Richmond tag is probably a fair call our 1sts have finish 5th to 9th ever season since we played off in the 2000-01 grand final....
Like we were supposed to go down last or the year before that? We won't win the flag probably wont make the four but we'll do enough dont worry about that..
Also the AFL grand final is in october this year so does that mean a 19 week season or does the finals get pushed deeper into march like premier cricket? (or dare i say sunday cricket)
Premiers from south and north division replace the two bottom sides in senior division regardless of what division they go back too. So yes keilor and old essendon both go down but as for who goes up/down from north A1 anf north division im not sure..
