My colts match has been put up on YouTube: I bat at 1:08:40. I bowl an over at 1:52:30 and 2:05:00.

I have heard of him before, possibly from u19s. I am cautious about us making pitches too friendly and going down the England route where the best domestic bowlers and 120km/h swing bowlers that will get nowhere in internationals. Also unfortunately CA seems to great favour seam bowlers over...

What do you mean? I can’t see any other than my club that have Melville in the name.

From what I saw in the shield he gets squared up way too easily by good bowlers. I also remember him struggling with the diet side of things. He used to get to school drinking a can of coke every morning and I think he liked his Maccas a lot.

I did follow Wyllie specifically because we were in the same classes at school!

I don’t really follow much below state 2nd XIs other than the club I play for. But he definitely sounds like a talent.

Yeah the guy I dropped put in back in for me [emoji23]. I messaged the coach for colts and he’s said I can bowl but otherwise sit off the field if I’m not.

I meant astroturf, aka synthetic wicket. Bowled 3 at the death after dislocating my ring finger on my bowling hand, took another 1-14. They needed 6 an over. Had an easy dropped catch catch in the 2nd over. Finished with 3-42(8), pretty happy but still lost. Dislocated my finger off an...

Bowled too short, both wickets were mistimed to square leg [emoji23] Definitely threatened when I did pitch it up though, just got to work on bowling too short. Also this match is on Astro.

My issue isn’t identifying the issues, it’s actually fixing them.

I have a list of issue I keep: 1. Front arm higher and stronger 2. Bowling arm in front of eyes in load up 3. Power through back leg 4. Higher knees in jump and gather (not a higher jump in general) 5. Try to get more side on (this one isn’t a major concern as plenty of bowlers bowl...

Yeah I’d been working on my front arm and load up but they really reverted back for that game annoyingly. I’ve had a consistent problem with my front arm being lazy but I’ve been getting better. I’ve also been trying to get my load up in front of my eye line more, because my elbow starts behind...

That was just the first image I found on google that showed what I meant. I probably take most of my technical stuff from Cummins and Starc (even though he’s left handed). They both have really nice, rhythmical bowling actions.

That’s the problem I’m a super-nuffy and also nerdy uni student that likes researching. All the other blokes in my colts team seem more inclined to go down the apprenticeship route. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, they just probably aren’t as inclined to analyse their bowling with...

Had training last night, I’m trying to work on rotating through properly in my action so my torso finishes closer to parallel with the ground. At the moment I’m not sure if I’m just a bit stiff but I’m struggling to understand HOW I’m supposed to rotate through from release point and get into...
