Re: Pakistan in Australia
I'm sure we could all list a dozen players more suited to 20/20 than Clarke is, but while the T20 captaincy is still considered a warm-up for the ODI and Test captaincy (both of which Clarke is the deserved successor for), it's going to be him leading the side, rightly...
Re: Watson - Love him or hate him?
The crux of what LIONS then DAYLIGHT is trying to say is that Australia is never ever at fault for anything and it is always the other team trying to damage the integrity of the glorious Australians, especially England.
Re: If you were Australia's bowling coach...
Nobody has been questioning Watson's cricketing ability in the last few months, they've been questioning his 'being a good bloke' ability.
Re: If you were Australia's bowling coach...
I can see why Smith is such an attractive prospect for the selectors. He's a quality bat and should have no trouble batting at 5-6 within a few years, and if he can get his bowling up to test standard then that leaves a spot open for another...
Re: Well done Ricky Ponting

Re: Pakistan in Australia
I don't know how you can defend Cameron White's batting and then call Steve Smith a slogger. Smith is also a far superior bowler.
Cognitive dissonance ITT
Re: If you were Australia's bowling coach...
If Johnson could learn how to consistently swing it back into a right-hander, he would be close to the best bowler in the world.
Re: Shahid Afridi banned for two T20s for ball-tampering
It seems pretty obvious to me that the ball was out of shape, and 'Honest Shahid', as he is affectionately known, was merely trying to restore it's shape using his teeth (the strongest part of the body), in order to not gain an unfair...
Re: Pakistan in Australia
The rules should be changed to allow ball biting because if it's good enough for Boom Boom then it's good enough for the glorious gentlemans game of cricket
