Seriously dude! Go away and have a good long think about what you said, and then once you understand that all you have demonstrated is just how low your IQ really is, I think you'll want to stay away!!
Re: WTF? DVCA change the rules, who knew!!!
Is the inferior quality of the Platypus ball just a perception based on price, or is there some evidence? The VTCA use the Platypus Match 4 piece ball exclusively don't they?
Re: DVCA - How do we make it better - A BigCricket going forward forum
Couldn't agree more - we're all playing park cricket after all. If teams really want to be rewarded for runs scored and wickets taken they can choose to stay out there now and be rewarded for it. It's called percentage...
Re: Umpiring Biffs and Arguements
What's the rule with regards the situation that Brad Haddin found himself in at Lords on the 2nd day in the test match. He hit the ball off of Flintoff and the ball came down and ended up trapped in the top of his leg pads, so technically it's still not hit the...
Re: DVCA: Barclay Shield
If we're only talking about Barclay then I agree Zerafa does give it a thump, but it we're talking about the whole competition then Whale and Gutterson both hit it hard, and Bubis will be back for 2009-2010 so he would almost certainly hit it harder than anyone.

Re: Northern Metropolitan Cricket Association (Jika)
Let's not forget about JB - I'm pretty sure he isn't there for his good looks - sure he's not as young as he was but he's always gonna average mid to high 40's, and keep well too.
Re: DVCA: Player movements and rumours
Does having a bye need to be a bad thing? Assuming all clubs in both Barclay and Money have reserves which will also have byes, why not fixture each team a friendly. The Barclay Shield team plays Money Reserve & vice versa. Possibly the silliest idea...
Re: DVCA: Player movements and rumours
I would have thought at the least there would have been an opportunity before the vote for any club to ask questions of the exec, and the issue of fixturing would surely have been raised. Didn't that happen?
Re: DVCA: Player movements and rumours
That's a good point - in order to play 20 weeks of cricket it would have to be 7 x 2 day games and 6 x 1 day games. I think that's too many 1 day games and could possibly disadvantage teams with good batting depth. With that many points at stake you'd...
Re: Cricket Brain Teaser
You are right - the ball certainly is dead, but as any cricketer who has taken the time to learn the rules of the game would know, an appeal can be made at any time until the call of time, or the bowler commencing his run up for the next delivery, or if no run up...
Re: Cricket Brain Teaser
You'll need to come up with a tougher question than that!! - Answer;
No appeal to central umpire for LBW on last ball of over,
Umpires change positions for next over,
BEFORE bowler commences his run up an appeal is made,
The central umpire who was officiating for...
Re: DVCA: Player movements and rumours
Does anybody know if the meeting at Bundoora on Monday night is open to all and sundry or just to club delegates??
