The problem I have always had with the IPL is that its not like a proper league in the sense of the teams being simply set up for the league, not county/state teams, not old school teams people have supported since young...simply teams made up of players bought for massive amounts of money...

Great news if it does...many people dont get to see the IPL and it will offer an avenue to do so. Maybe with Youtube saying its likely to move to a paid option for streams, this could be a way for the IPL to gain interest and then move to the paid stream option once its live on Youtube...even...

Nottinghamshire did well this weekend in the Yorkshire Bank 40 beating Worcestershire. friday 28th Junes a big one for me, Nottinghamshire v Leicestershire in the Friends Life T20....not a big T20 fan but this will be a nice game to watch with a beer or two if the weathers nice :)

To me its not about the schools playing cricket, which the schools I went to did.. and even had summer break training during the school holidays. Its about getting the kids to move from playing at school into teams outside of the school set up, this is where I have the issue...
