The reason the Reserve grades went was there was a disparity between how clubs viewed this grade. There was no relegation or promotion so sides either played all kids to develop them, played their second best team or played a bunch of mates to keep them happy. With no real vision for that grade...
How can all NMCA teams join DVCA? One of DVCA criteria is that clubs must have juniors. Is it only clubs with junior sides that will be invited or all clubs with the proviso that they must have a junior component within a certain timeframe? Also some NMCA only have one team. How will they be graded?
What to have credibility I need to post more? I will post 99 pieces of crap ( like some on here) so the one post that has any relevance gets taken seriously. At least I know you can count.
Why would we post here when most of the stuff written on here is crap. Enough said about the 2 clowns they can count themselves lucky. We should be focusing on the 1000+ players that do the right thing every week and play within the rules.
The tribunal doesn't even need to gather evidence. Video is clear for all to see so lets see what happens. Min 4 weeks for Tim and 2+ weeks for Gilbert. These guys are supposed be respected players of the comp.
Rule book states - Send off even for minor offence 1 match up to 4 matches - Give Gilbert 2 matches - behaving in a threating or intimidating manner up to 4+ matches or bringing the game into disrepute 4+ matches. Unacceptable behavior from both players, not necessary and certainly not what the...
Clubs are charged around $2,000 per year to be part of the competition. I would expect that clubs should would receive something that is nearer to a full service rather than bits and pieces when the Exec can be bothered. What about Whittlesea, OP's and TU all paid their fees on time and when it...
Agree cant even access team selections. Also have a look at the DVCA website - Would have cost in excess of $10,000 to produce and clubs pay around $2,000 per year to these flogs and what do we have:
Front page - Clubs applications for coaches dated April 2023
Senior fixtures for 2022
Junior...
I think that would be open to exploiting so couldn't agree to that. You would need proof of a positive test etc. My point is that DVCA have applied a penalty to a club and the rule doesn't exist. They have just simply made it up. What is wrong with " All DVCA clubs you cannot play a positive...
Lower Eltham lose 3 points for playing a covid positive player. You dont need to isolate anymore and under what rule did they apply the penalty? Apparently spirit of cricket was the reason given. Watch this space as Lower will be taking further.
Hearing Rosebank received a $500 fine for not supplying an afternoon tea. Cricket Vic guidelines still stating that players should provide their own. Also $500 a bit steep for not supplying some party pies and and an egg & lettuce sandwich. Maybe the DVCA should put more effort into assisting...
Thats for the playing dates which is easy. But you have to wait for clubs to nominate which sides they are entering, wait on councils to tell you which grounds are available/not available and then clubs wish to enter extra sides and also withdraw sides. Also wherever possible most clubs like...
There is a fixturing manager ( Operations Manager) - Josephine Turner - She would normally present at least 2 options for playing dates and the DVCA exec would vote on the proposals. Options would be non playing on certain dates, requests from clubs etc. Bit difficult with a playing date unknown...
You do understand that there are PAID people on the DVCA Executive. These people are paid by the clubs and get nothing from the DVCA... its a joke. And the amounts that some of them are paid are upwards of $15k. No website communication, no use of social media to keep players - the key...
I dont want to pile on here but... It cant be nearly as far as uniforms go. With colored clothing every player must look exactly the same otherwise it looks like a game of under 12's (no disrespect to Under 12's!) . So if you have players going up and down the grades there needs to be enough...
