I think only Diamond Creek v Rosanna & North Eltham v Heidelberg are the only matches in the balance. Can either DC or Heidelberg chase their targets? The rest look like they are wrapped up. Maybe Macleod could have a collapse but would be very surprised to see that happening.

a very tight season in Barclay. North Eltham and Riverside look to be a cut above the rest of the teams so far. Rosanna and Macleod formidable top 4 competition for them. I think everyone else is just playing for 5 and below.

Wonder what has happened. Are they missing players? It looked like Bundoora United were in cruise control. Favrin looked like he was 30 years young again.

I saw him play a few games last season. He struggled at Barclay level. Maybe it was just a bad season I’m surprised he has been named in the first XI for Bundoora United.

I saw they have signed a player from Lower Eltham. Who has retired and who is coming back? Who has left Heidelberg?

Looking forward to the upcoming season. If the last 2 seasons have shown us all anything, it is that it’s not the most talented group of players that are necessarily going to win the premiership. Bundoora United should be fun to watch. Can’t see why Tim Wise can’t replicate his amazing season...

I would argue that 19 - 21 is too late to go from local competition to Premier Competition. My thoughts would be just your 2nd XI is playing a reserve grade. Call it B, C, D grades currently. Option is then there for a clubs 3rd XI team to play in either 2 day cricket competition or a...
