So I hear Cricket Australia are having a sook over an estimated 10 to 13 million dollars of revenue lost due the early boxing day test match finish. All I'll say to this in response is tough bickies mate, if your well paid MCG ground curator is way too lazy to curate his own pitches from the MCG...
Starc will be virtually too old for the next ashes test series and Neser is not much chop other than just a back up bowler imo and he's also not part of the future either. Today was a warning sign and the Aussies really need to start a fresh by giving some of the current young talented fast...
Game over outplayed by the poms, 3 to 1 now. Wholesale changes are needed for Sydney. Ussie, Marnus, Richardson and Wetherald all out and bring in some kids to blood them for the future.
Ussie is cooked and I think it's time for him to retire. Marnus and Wetherald need spells in shield cricket to find some form because both of them making bad decisions when batting.
I've never even heard of a virtual Christmas party friend, sounds like an interesting concept but yes you are right I'm busy this Christmas but thank you for the invitation anyway I do appreciate it. Merry Christmas to you and your family and all the Bigcricket members, Cheers!
Young blokes can get the same injury as well. Sam Lalor severely damaged his hammy diving on player on the boundary line in a AFL match earlier this year. He damaged it so bad he had to have surgery on it. If Lyon is still taking wickets, I'm happy for him to play on, he's still our best spinner...
As long as his old man legs can hold up then why not? This unfortunately is his second serious soft tissue injury in a row in an ashes series so whether his body can hold up in a young man's sport for another 3 to 4 year is the question.
