3rd ODI: Pakistan v Zimbabwe at Multan

Pakistan leads the 5-ODI series 2-0. They can clinch with a victory today.

They've dropped Samiullah and Iftikhar, while Zimbabwe have had to rule out their captain, Utseya. Matsikenyeri has been dropped too.

Pakkistan won the toss and will bat first on what is expected to be a very high-scoring track. They'll be hoping for a score of 300 today.

Okay, forget 300, there's no chance of that!

Pakistan is 12-0 after 8 overs! Brent and Chigumbura have bowled very good so far today!

Mupariwa and Price have come on and kept the pressure on Pakistan.
Shoaib Malik just got run out, it'll be Yousuf and Misbah to bat now.

Pakistan in big trouble here. They need Misbah or Afridi to have a big innings.

Afridi living up to his reputation, and upping the run rate here.

Mushtaq Ahmed and Sikander Bakht are the announcers, and are suggesting that perhaps Pakistan don't respect Zimbabwe enough.

Afridi already has a half century.

This partnership is saving Pakistan. Afridi is hitting very well, and Misbah is doing a superb job of running between the wickets to support Afridi.

Afridi finally gone for 85. From just 52 deliveries, and he had 6 sixes!!

Pakistan finished 272-9.

Shahid Afirdi was the star of the show, and his 116-run partnership with Misbah will likely be what wins the match.

Mupariwa took 4 wickets for Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe 29-2 after 9 overs.

Sohail Tanvir has both wickets and has looked pretty good so far.

No real signs that Zimbabwe is going to challenge Pakistan's control of this match.

Zimbabwe 95-3 after 25 overs. Nice partnership building between Williams and Taylor.

They're actually ahead of where Pakistan was at this point. I would say that Zimbabwe would have a chance if they still had someone like Shahid Afridi waiting to come in, but they don't.

That's the hundred partnership between Williams and Taylor, and they each have a half century.

Now they need to start hitting some boundaries.

they need 98 from the last 10 overs

Taylor was out for 55, and then Williams was finally out for 71. Pakistan hasn't wrapped up this match just quite yet, but with those two gone, they're almost there.

It would have been a different match without Afridi.

Pakistan have wrapped the series up, and we may see a few more new names for the last 2 ODIs.
