There have been rumors that Harbhajan said something in Hindi and Symonds interpreted it as 'monkey'. I'm not so sure if thats what happened. If that was the case Harbhajan or Indian players would have clarified it.

thats ridiculous if he was swearing at symonds in hindi. thats a cowardly act. im sure he would have told this to the match referee if it happened.

You may not be the biggest fan of the Indian cricket team, but thats a very extreme reaction. Its unlikely that India will pull out of the tour. Even if they do, the relationship between Cricket Australia and BCCI may be damaged, but that doesn't mean that ICC will ban India from International Cricket.kizza said:

Yuvraj cant score runs even against a domestic side. He should get dropped. Sehwag made a amazing century today. I hope should be in the team to replace Yuvraj.
Firstly Australians treat India poorly. No one even went to shake hands with Kumble after the end of the match. They did not even apologize. They even refused to accept that umpiring was poor. Why should India not be allowed to play again? That is the biggest joke. It would not be possible to ban India even if you were the head of the ICC.kizza said:

Kind of depends on which media you read, I had seen a report that Powar was revelling in having the power as to whether or not India pull out and was enjoying the uncertainty.
Don't think they'll pull out though, too many money at stake, not just for this series but future ones as well.

Powar dont wants to cancel the tour because BCCI wil have to pay $2 million to Australia for compensation. Well if the players refused to play then powar will have no option. BUt I dont think players will refuse to play.

I have a feeling that a bit of behind the scenes dealing has gone on here. Expect Singh to come away with a suspended ban as well.

The captains have also agreed to scrap the agreement that the batsman will walk if the fielder claims the catch. It led to all this controversy so it is best way forward in my opinion.
Whether the charge against Harbhajan is scrapped remains to be seen, but I think if it was to be done it would have been done.

Like I said, I don't they'll scrap it but I have a feeling it will be reduced to a suspended ban.
What did they give Gibbs when he was accused of using a racial remark (if it was a racial one?). I seem to recall Richie B judging on that one.
