Well.........firstly sorry.

I moved house and underestimated the time it takes and the buggering around dodo did to me. So it died.

What do people think?

Is it worthwhile?

If so how could it be improved?

Is there a better person to run it than a non gambler like me?

If everyone agrees me and Jolldo can set up events in the vBookie whenever matches happen. The odds can be set to 1 and can be updated daily in the case of test matches. :)

Fair enough, I guess I'll sim the matches now, post the first day and post the events with odds accordingly. The odds will be updated daily after posting each days play according to the game going on. All cool? :)

How does that work?

If i put $5 on at $3.00 and then the odds are lowered to $2.50 will i receive $15 or $12.50 ?

No, that's the magic. The previous bets will have the same odds because they were made earlier and had more risk factor and hence better deserve. Only the bets that are made after the changing of odds will have the effect. :)

Awesome, lets just have administrator confirmation on it now. :)

I guess the system will be like this -

Tests
When the match is started, the odds will be 1 for each time since we don't know about the sim's behaviour. However after the posting of the 1'st day the odds will be changed according to the course of match. :) Btw, odds of 1 mean you'll get double the amount back. For example, if you bet 200, you win 200 and you also get the original 200 back so you have in total 400 back. :)

One Day
We can have odds at 1 anyways.


Events will be closed for one days when the matches are added, and probably settled too. Same for tests although that will be day 5. :)

Because as I mentioned the sim behaves in a very erratic manner. Though I think your idea is good too and we can have it that way too. :)
