Big Announcement Coming!!!

Oh yes, it's big. Some would even say huge!!!

A new and ever so exciting addition to our already wonderful Fantasy Cricket League is coming SOON! Keep your eyes on this thread for the announcement, but let's start speculating now!

The official announcement will be played at about 3:00 am GMT on Sunday! OH BABY I'M EXCITED!!!

Orite.. I get the ball rolling with the first rumour..

My status in the game has risen yet another level, to BC Ghod, putting me on the same level as other gods such as the Fonz (ayeeeeeee@| ), Gary Ablett and Shane Warne....

You were being kept in suspense (read: Wilbix was in no shape to type when he got home last night) - but that suspense is now over!

Introducing: The first edition of the World Cricket SuperLiga

What is it?
A chance for the best of the best to test themselves against one another, to determine who really is the top cricket side in the world.

Who will participate?
The structure may change over time, but for the inaugural running of the competition, will include 6 teams. The qualifying teams are the top 2 in the One-Day table of the BCFCL, English County Cricket, and the Ford Ranger League in Australia. So, that is, Kandy Lions, Indomitable Magpies, Northamptonshire, Essex, Queensland, and Victoria.

Where will it be played?
The matches will be played in the home parks of the participating teams.

When will it be played?
It will take place concurrently with the BCFCL season, with matchdays scheduled for off-days in the Premiership schedule. All matches will be one-day, 50 over matches. Each team will play each other team once, followed by a playoff round. Full fixtures will be released soon.

So. Big and exciting enough for you?

Surely, the Caribbean Crusaders are on top of the BCFCL in the One Day format?

Sounds pretty good. Caribbean Crusaders are on top of the ladder though, by nine points too. ;)

THAT'S IT! NEW RULE! - THE CRUSADERS ARE BANNED FROM THIS COMP FOREVER!

In any case, it uses the top two teams from the table in the previous season. So the Crusaders are in a great position to make it into next season's SuperLiga, but are SOL for this season's.

Next year it is then, maybe the other sides will get better in the meantime, and we may have some competition when we play this SuperLiga :D @|
