Caribbean Crusaders Official Season 4 Thread

Well, this thread will be our official one for season four. All things associated with the club, players, matches and results can go here. So post in this thread.

We have a good list this year with some steallar players being a part of our team. It will take a while for us to gel as a unit but I'm sure with the list we have, we can go far and make the finals and hopefully win one of the three comps available.

I would like to announce (depending on whether they accept or not) that Squiz and ONB will be joint vice-captains for this season.

Squiz has done a very, very good job with the side in previous seasons and I feel that we should keep his knowledge and expertise on board as he has been in the role before and would have some good advice at hand.

ONB is my second choice and also a very worthy one. Captained at Capetown United and tried valiantly to lift the club from it's postition. ONB is also a gun bat and a welcome addition to any club and he too will be a valued member at the Caribbean Crusaders.

Also, I am interested in having a B and F for season four. Is anyone willing to run one at all?

In the meantime, Carn Crusaders!!!

Looks like a very decent squad we have here.

And honoured to be the VC of this famed club.

ONB can have the sole vice captaincy. I'll chip in my 2 cents now and then though.

It's a good looking squad, not sure how many are active though.

Well, that's settled then. ONB will be the Crusaders vice-captain for season four.

If no-one volunteers to do one, I'll do it. It will be done infrequently though and I don't think I will post the votes on each game should I so it.

I would like someone to help out with this though.

Hey Guys I'm Kerr4PM, But you guys can call me Kerry. I'm looking forward to hopefully getting a game in the near future, racking up some good scores and hopefully helping us to victory. Im hoping to be opening the batting, like i do in both the one day and test competition over at Bigfooty.com, and hopefully forming a good opening partnership with someone. I recognise a few names from Bigfooty but I'm also looking forward to getting to know all of you.

Above is the Caribbean Crusaders Club Awards for Season 4. I have just finished collecting, collating and tallying and all the awards are listed above.

It was an indifferent season for us, we finished last in the one-dayers after starting well and we were the runners-up in the test arena, a game we could have won.

Anyhow, here are the winners for each award. The Club Champion award was done on a 3-2-1 basis for one-dayers and 5-4-3-2-1 basis for the tests.

The MVP awards were judged on 1 point for each run and 20 points for each wicket with 15 points for each catch or run-out.
