i dont admit to following footie much but i can help but laugh!

1-0 till the 95 minute then an own goal!

not bad considering there was only supposed to be 3 mins extra time....

It was a bit ridiculous alright - trying to head a ball from knee level over the bar?!?!? A Liverpool fan I live with was trying to make excuses for him saying - "He couldn't have kicked it because he's left footed"

Tbh, I don't care how left-footed he is, he's a professional footballer, so he should be able to make a decent effort at clearing a ball with either leg!

Can you imagine a professional cricketer refusing to try to field a ball with his left hand because he's right handed?

Bloody hell kick it, no matter how unco you are, it'll still go away from the goals. Wtf, trying to headbutt a ball that had just bounced over the bar? Loser.

Ok then, he was obviously caught in two minds and yeah he'll look back on it and think he should have cleared it right footed but it was curling in toward the goal and he had to dive back a bit to get it meaning it would have been harder to clear with his feet. Give him a break though jeez
