Bliss point no 6. Is that a name cheyne devine? or is it something else i dont understand what it is. Also why is it that bliss is going to be well behaved does his GIRLFRIEND have him by the testicles?

were playing yea, huge crowd expected. Been elevated off the rookie list and have gone from jumper no 64, to andy swallow 19

Well after an extensive review and checking our situation from all sides we are pleased to announce the formation of the Gold Coast Cobras. Unlike the Kangaroos we realise when a situation is too good to be true, and will take up residence from 2009 playing all home games from Cavill avenue. Our home club rooms will be The Avenue with administration out of the SAR Club across the road.

Our Innaugral XI will be as follows taking into account Gold Coast form only

1. Ben Bliss - Consistent performer who will always try and be there at the end, often paying the price the next day!
2. Steve K - Got he's feet moving at the end of the trip, dangerous contibutor in 09.
3. Mick Flinn - Should get us off to a flyer, before hitting the wall. Another season and smarter management should see him lift.
4. Adam Hall - When he is on, unstoppable!
5. Gabe S - Will be the man for early starts.
6. A.Baxter - Willing to dig in and do the team things?
7. Sandy H - Will provide financial advice, a necessity up there.
8. B.Parks - Up and Down, has his moments when in full flight.
9. N.Gill - Machine
10. R.Dunmore - Needed more time to develop, will be better next time around.
11. Andy W - The Captain, crazy dancing man!
12. Cheyne Devine - Will need special clearance to play home games, 5km radius?
Rick Morris - Some people still unsure if he made the trip?

Gold Coast Press Release "Welcome to the Gold Coast Cobras"

The person who looked like Rick Morris, was some sought of electronic silhouette, with a TAB ticket in one hand and ATM card in the other.

Apparently Ben Bliss has taken up Prostitution too raise the necessary funds to live for the next month.

Andy 'Crazy Legs' Wegs is still clapping.

Steve K has started to build the Superman ride at Barling (completion date Dec' 08).

Cheyne Devine is at Guantanamo Bay and getting a complete interrogation.

Aaron Baxter is still in the Spa.

Baazar can't still work out where all the money went on Thursday Night.

Ryan Dunmore is still leaping tall buildings in a single bound.

Adam Hall may have created the Rick Morris silhouette. Go the Blues.

Nathan Gill is a machine but he is too RED.

Sandy is a late inclusion to the Australian Swim Team for the Beijing Olympics. Good luck to the VAGH.

And Michael Flinn has the biggest head in Australia.

The relocation of the cobras is going well !
Gold coast council have been very helpful they have given us a beach hut for club rooms. Proberbly got our rooms covered at the moment ..... Talking to many new players ....
Our new player "wedge" looks the part dread locks buff was a pro surfer but is happy to play for incentives.... Highest score of 29 with half a boogie board in fading light at a bomfire on Bondi beach in 2006 ...... I think he is gonna fit in well........
New sponsors "The Avenue" have jumped on board straight away.
Wet N Wild have provided recovery sessions at our convenience and the Tornado will be used as a training device every thursday night

Go The GOLD COAST COBRAS things are coming together quite well !

McKernan, not up for discussion. Work commitment next year will allow him to train regularly. Big season ahead.

My Tips

Flinn 450+ runs No. 4 (take a leaf from the captain and protect him - lol)
Wegener 28+ wickets opening
Abdulazeez 300+ opening
Krstitovic 40+ wickets (now has straight one!!!)
McKernan 300+ runs, 20+wkts

A lot of other young blokes coming on!

No truth to any rumours, are concentrating on what we have and have had at the club, will talk to anybody interested who is willing to work to the strict guidlines of our coach.

It's over, our relocation has hit hard times. We will have to re assess after next years cricket trip.
