Does this happen to all on first indoor game?

I mean i was horrible. I couldn't see any balls that were hit by the batsmen and one ball was a sitter for me that bounced on the top net and i completely went blank and blind. Others grab the ball so effortlessly that it makes me feel really crap at fielding.

Batting wasn't so easy too although i did get a 4 of the first ball :)
Some bowlers made the ball jumps of much faster off the pitch than others and it looked to accelerate as it went past and i was like

My running between wickets was the shocker. I knew the rules before the game started but it wasn't second nature to me and in this fast paced game, i didn't feel comfortable at all.

Plus the fielding by the other team was amazing and i was just  when i got caught of so many times.

Bowling was my best part as I had full control of my line and length, although i am disappointed that i didn't get any wickets.

I've only played about 3 or 4 games and I can certainly relate to what you say about having trouble fielding.. TBH I found batting and bowling fairly easy to pick up apart from getting bowled attempting a silly flick shot to the off-side.

Did you play in adults league?

Some bowlers bowl very hard balls to hit and one almost got through to hit my throat

I h8 bowling wides very much, it doesn't happen often but i never want it to happen!!!

Fielding you'll pick up. It takes a bit to adjust to it, and it should improve your outdoor cricket fielding in the covers or slip. Batting is a completly different art and it takes you a while to adjust to running between wickets quickly and safely. Keep it up and you'll do alright. Where do you play and what competition?

I play at a indoor sporting center. They have custom made teams, we each pay our share and join a season. And different teams vs each other. Its not professional by any means :p

The speed of the game is what took me by surprise when I first played, but you soon adjust to it. Fielding can be difficult at first, mainly because you're playing in such an enclosed space but with time that goes away.

Batting is probably the biggest difference, due to the indoor ball and the floor used. Balls tend to bounce more and can seem to come through quicker. Again, you do get used to it but it'll take a few games.
