on a positive note, well down to macloed. they would have been doubting themselves at 6/22?

and yeah, wella at 10 is an interesting stratergy.

Sometimes one-dayers don't pan out as hoped. He's not there to bat 10 and not bowl all year, just the way things went yesterday.

Re: DVCA: Barclay Shield

Mernda v Lalor Stars, moral of the story:

Lalor are a pack of cheats that will do anything to get points.
Yet eat shit to Mernda who have the number 1 ************ of the Diamond Valley in Snowy, with possibly number 2 in Baker.

Can anyone think of a bigger flog than these two?

What exactly happened?

Lalor Stars had their pitch damaged (not sure what by) but they replaced the area damaged area which was half their pitch, and not half up one end it was in the middle. Problem was they replaced it this week, either thursday or friday when it was wet. They reckon you could actually move the pitch with your foot because they did it when it was wet and it hadn't dried.

Now before anyone says that its not their fault, the pitch has been like that for 2 and a half weeks, yet they decided not to do anything about it until the day or two before the first game.

As for Snowy and Baker. They are just the mouths of the valley, and can't help themselves. Don't get why snowy would be upset at someone doing something dodgy. He's the king of dodgy!

you are a dead set moron . the council damaged the pitch 2 weeks ago which we told them to fix everyday but they decided to come out on friday the night before a game and while it was raining to fix it{actually they made it worse}we wanted to play just as much as the mernda boys and to say we are cheats and scared of baker is a joke. just worry about your own team!

Re: DVCA: Barclay Shield

J. Arnberger 55. From anyone who was down there just wondering if he looked that class above? I remember a few years back NEWanderers had former NZ Test bat/wk Brian Young play a game and he just looked far too good for DV, expecting the case is similar with Cheese.

Re: DVCA: Barclay Shield

I'm wrapped for Macleod, not only did they win in A grade but their 2's really pushed Riverside's 2's which is quite a good effort. Waddingham seems to be able to do in this division what he had done in the last, they would be hoping he doesn't go walkabout.
Anyone know why McTaggart didn't play at Epping?

Good win by Lower Eltham over Research today.....

To defend 180 odd there is a good effort...

Burgs's nippy medium pacers continually landed in "the corridor of uncertainty", he took 4 for, nice start.

Burgs was very very good Otis, played a huge part in turning the game. Good to see him get rewarded for his hard work. JW superb with his 96 as well!

Didn't get there myself, but from all reports a very good win. Great bowling performance by Burgs and Witch seems to be getting better with age. Good chance this week to see our boys play Macloed and see how they will be away from home.

he made 88 and apprently chanceless go himself out, all he wanted was for his daugher to play cricket and plenty said no no places for her too many kids.

just imigine him in that time they won the 4 flags batting at 3

Witch was very good, hopefully the start of a big season. Burgs was great with the pill, as was Cal Still, a mature bowling performance from the young fella.

Re: DVCA: Barclay Shield

Interesting to see there was no play in the Lalor Stars, Mernda match. Should this match be re-scheduled or should the draw stand ?

wouldn't happen to have Deckas number would you??

did a great job in keeping them under 150, which i thought gave us every chance to get the chocolates, unfortunaltely creek & Brett had different ideas. They bowled & fielded extremely well but were aided by some very poor batting.
a couple of positives were a 16yo playing his first game made 1/3 of our score opening the batting & we made 6 more than our first hit last year and only coughed up 6 points instead of 10;)

Are you retarded? Or can you not read? Where did I say that you are scared of Baker? Mernda would be scared of Keays more! You must be feeling guilty, or scared or baker to mention that, when I didn't!
