he is slightly i mean everyone is saying he is a god of dvca when clearly he is a gentle left arm bowler.
Would have missed falcons through lack of pace im thinking, slow-medium bowlers tend to get a bit of stick in any high grade.

Agree, being a Medium bowler myself, when I've bowled to good batsmen, no matter where you pitch the ball, they seem to find a way to make it not dangerous at all.

Playing in seniors last week I was dominating all the other teams normal players, but they had a 1's batsman in, I probably only beat his bat twice in ten overs, very hard for someone with not much pace to dominate good batsman although they can still take wickets.

i heard that trent williams will be playing against plenty in a fortnight.
If this is true, this game has some potential. Around 5 or 6 falcons players playing and 1 or 2 unlucky to miss out. Should be a great game!

yep willo will be there for half of plenty game but other half we are in perth for marcellin 1s carnie.
im thinking if creek bat he could be the difference.
If creek bowl then he will do nothing but laze around in the field!
haha ily trent bmfl

Re: DVCA Juniors

hm we are unsure if trent will be joining us next game. it all depends on school cricket commitments.
pretty sure he will be rolling the arm over for the creek against the sea of whittle this weekend.

being a slow bowler myself, bowling to good batsman is hard on syntho's but stick at it because on the turf it is happy days!
get some variation, swing both ways. slower balls.
and you will be laughing!

also, amber is a stunner. the girl can sing too :)

moderator stop looking me up cos u wont find anything and ur being a weirdo by doing it.
check emails and who they are registered with if u wanna no who is who.

Re: DVCA Juniors

yeah has any1 seen the youtube vids.
ambers got a great voice and the kid on the guitar isn't a bad player either. The guitarist isn't a bad cricketer either.

Also got any thoughts on that bradley gedge kid from riverside? future star bowls gas and can hold a bat aswell.

Re: DVCA Juniors

Alright lads someone start an amber vincent forum and we will all comment in there.
also why was my post deleted for abuse moderator when i clearly did not swear?
i didnt criticise i was clearly questioning what authority you think you seem to posess over young men.
because like it or not we are young men and freedom of speech is entitled all over the world incase you didnt realise.

Much easier to keep a track of people via IP adresses, and it has been said before, constructive criticism and ribbing are great and good fun respectively, but when it gets to the point of bagging players, thats when it becomes neither of those.

scratch that your probably correct, why dont you, moderator check the ip adress history of the other people who you claimed to be myself.
bagging is criticism mate its the same thing, either way your ability is being put down and thats life learn to cop it because not everyone will rate u as either a sportsman or a bloke so u gotta learn to cop it sometime, sooner the better.
syntho wickets were much better for a medium pacer like myself because movement off the seam was something i could produce very easily.
all weather pitches have deffs killed the local game as it encourages back foot shots off decent length deliveries which at any decent level will kill you.
all weather pitches should be canned, disgrace to the local player as far as im concerned

sorry should i say bradley gedge is a future gun!
a bit small atm but he will be a good valley cricketer.
thoughts?

Yeah I agree.

As I wrote in a post way way back. I pegged Louis Smith (PL), Dylan Potter (RV) and Brad Gedge (RV) as players to look out for.

Good to see these names have already been brought up once or twice.:)

i refuse to comment due to my continual good behaviour.

Mate don't be silly.

Some of your posts are really good and constructive with general ribbing and good commenst.

BUT some ar e not and need to be stopped.

We are trying to get more people on this site and if they see crap when they log in they will not stay.

The problem with these sort of forums is whimps hide behind their computer and bag players that have a go and posters that are having a chat. If they had a heart they would look before they posted. Thats what we are trying to stop.

Mate post your heart out but do not bag someone that cannot have a go back.

No point criticising someone without suggesting ways they can improve true? Thats why it's called constructive criticism.

Are the new pitches all weather pitches? (Never heard them called that), but if so, then I agree, Being Short I find it difficult to bat on these as good length deliveries are nearly up around my throat.

They have turned me into a very back foot batsman.

I only seem to really feel comfortable batting on the old synthetics.

Re: DVCA Juniors

i would like to promote a mate of mine from dvca being a young gun from diamond creek.
look out for dylan campbell if he sticks with his cricket, the boy is a talent.
Footy is starting to fade away slightly for him so i can see him becoming a star of the dvca in years to come and even in other comps as high as district level.
mitch johnson having a strange year isnt he, couple of tons then a couple of ducks.
i predict he will be alot more consistent after xmas with scores floating between 30 and 80.
good player, expect him to do well in the carnie in jan.
xx
