Franks struggled to beat Whittlesea pre-xmas. There top order is very suspect and rumour has it the captain coach may have been hospitalised over the xmas break due to a water skiing accident. Apparently he went over a bump and one of his man boobs flipped up and hit him under the chin and knocked him out. He is now on a diet of 23 dim sims and 6 pies a day to aid in his recovery.

Fair enough, they are a very handy line up.
The only question mark will be their lack of finals experience.
IF they get there, watch out for Cabage (D.Sinclair), he is a proven "big game" player...
He was THE MAN in the first ever Money Sheild finals series.

Doea any one know Jack Taylor ????? usually opens the batting for Monty, He is a very good cricketer and does quite well for the age of 15, Is the future of Monty you would think.

Where trying to get a big cricket team going from the DVCA If you are on here and post a few times a day we need you.

WE need..

Pure bats
Pure bowlers
All rounders
Keeper batsman
and so on..

I play for Madrid Magic at the moment but when the DVCA starts I will play with the Diamond Valley side.

Its a bit of fun we have to pump our team up tell every 1 how good we are. If you wanna have a go pm me and let me know what roll you wanna play. You must be from the Diamond Valley.

Hmmm nope cant do that sorry Bear,you cant be an all rounder because you cant bowl..Now that I think about about it you cant be a pure bat because you struggle at that as well...Let me think:confused::confused:can you keep ?????????????????????????

Made 18 off around 100 balls against St Francis, pretty solid for a young kid, although didn't like the short ball. will need to develope some shots as he gets older.

first time post but follow money shield a fair bit. ill have a go with my tips. probably get em all wrong.

North Eltham v Whittlesea - North Eltham to take this one out pretty comfortablte with Al Mann due for a big score.

Montmorency v Mill Park - Monty to get the points here with Wunhym to get a ton.

St. Francis v Bundoora Utd - May be a lot closer then people think with both sides having handy bats but St. Francis batting looks classy with Duggin, Berthet & co. St. Francis win.

Eltham College v South Morang - I think College will win and win well. Kennell to make runs again and Paine to take a few wickets.

Panton Hill v Thomostown - Hill for me here. Motchall is due for a big game, danger player is George for Thomostown.

Hurstbridge v Yarrambat - Going for Hurstbridge in a close one. Have the top to wicket takers in Sadowy & Crowe and can see them bowling out Yarrambat cheaply. Hurstbridge but very tight one.
