Paves had enough of being headman and probably wants to kick back a bit. Paves and Craig Mcgaw went out of their way to help the up and coming juniors and are always welcome at Greensborough.

Does it not seem strange that Mernda may have recruited another bowler when it is probably more evident they need a batsmen after losing Snowy?

Bowlers dont grow on trees bradfromeltham so you take who you can get.Soly a ten year prospect I would have thought.Good pick up.Snowy will be hard to cover but still early for Mernda to maybe find a 1/2 decent bat.
I still find it hard to fathom why Snowy would move on after a flag.Is it for coaching reasons or maybe something deeper?

40 years old with maybe 2 years left.Camrea destined for DVCA and to start in 2nd division.I would think he wants to play the top evel until retirement.Obvious coaching aspirations as well.

Rozzie has been apointed captain coach for us this year. Last year he was just captain of the 1st's with Strangers coach. Strangers is still with the club however isnt coaching anymore.

Bit sensitive tonight CC. I was actually referring to most fast bowlers ie; bowlers that take more than 10 steps in their run up. :D

My understanding was that he was not too keen to coach, something must have changed his mind.
