England vs India ODI Series

Two matches remaining in the series with the score line 3-2 in England's favour.
Has been a good display by England after a poor World Cup and the series against West Indies, a win against India in this series will give them some confidence going into the Twenty20 World Cup.
India will have to play really well to win this series. They played well today on a flat track but there is still a lot to be desired in terms of consistency from the Indian bowlers.

I still think that this series will end up as 3-3 with one game washed out. Hopefully I'll be proved wrong but time will tell.

It's been pretty evenly matched so far and I have to say a reasonable series, although I'm not really a fan of best of 7's. Lets hope that it goes into the last game at 3-3, as that should provide some interesting needle.

England just need to go for it fully next match like they do anyway but they need to post a magnificent total to stop India who I think could win the series.

England is going to win the series. India needs to win both of the next games which is very unlikely.

Luke Wright has joined the squad for the remaining two matches. Bopara and Flintoff are suffering from injuries so it would be a big blow for England if they don't play tomorrow.

England lost 2 quick wickets but Bell is playing very well. This pair will need to put something substantial on the board.

Good score for England overall, especially the last over, some great hitting by Dimi.

England should be in the driving seat for this one but India do have batters capable of chasing 300+,

That was unfortunate for Tendulkar. He played like he did when he was in his prime. He should have retired hurt though and come back after getting some treatment. India are still in a good position the game could go either way.

Great we lost, time for Prior to go he lost it for us there, his keeping was shocking! Anderson bowled well but the indians targetted him.

Time for Mustard to be given a chance. We aren't getting what we need from Prior in the one-day format, however hge should still be given a run in the test side.

Well done to our weird but wonderful Shah too.
Personally, I think we'll still win :D

A thrilling win for India. Dravid would have been severely criticized by the media for giving the last over to Yuvraj had India not won the match.

i agree, a let off for Dravid. It is about time Mustard was given a go. Why on earth can england not hold on to a decent keeper?

A good match for dimi, with hitting like that i'll be suprised if he doesn't get a go in the twenty20s

Ha, never thought England would do so well looking at this series before it was played but by any stretch of the imagination they have played very well.

Congrats England. :)
