Fantasy Domestic League Fixtures

Here's what I've come up with for the Season 1 fixtures. The ODI comeptition is a full round robin, playing each other team once. The Test competition is in two groups of 4. As a group, we have to decide what points systems to use for both competitions. There are 22 picks left in the draft, so even if each one takes the full 12 hours, we will be ready to play in two weeks.

Re: Fantasy Domestic League Fixtures

I think there should be a rule, if in the ODIs you play 3 home 4 away then you should get 2 home 1 away in the Tests

Otherwise it looks pretty good

Re: Fantasy Domestic League Fixtures

That schedule is fine.

There's only a few more draft picks left though. Do we really want to wait another 10 days to start the season? Or can we bring it forward by a few days?

Re: Fantasy Domestic League Fixtures

What points system will we use ?

Re: Fantasy Domestic League Fixtures

I guess it's up to you in the end. I'd propose the 4+1 format for ODIs, Tests have even more choices.

Re: Fantasy Domestic League Fixtures

Say what !! Lol. I think i need to have a look at these systems !! I think the sim has a system if i am correct. Hopefully i could just use that.

Re: Fantasy Domestic League Fixtures

Um, unless you have a different version of the sim I don't think there is any points system. It just gives win-loss records. 4+1 is the system used in most tri-series - 4 points for a win, and 1 bonus point for having run rate 1.25X your opponent.
