Five Day Semi-Final: South Aussie Figjams v Caribbean Crusaders @ The JamFactory

These two teams are going to get tired of one another very quickly. They just completed a riveting 3-match semi-final series, which saw the Figjams go to the One-Day finals. Now they get together in the First Class semi-final, with the winner facing the Magpies in the final. The Figjams won both their games on the road in the OneDayers, and they have homefield here. We will wait and see what role that plays. The match will be played over 5 days, to try and ensure a result, but we've seen stranger things happen. Like ties, you say? Naaaah, I've never seen a tie in a 5-dayer ;)

Five Days, interesting...

Come on Crusaders, we need revenge, these guys just beat us in a fantastic three-game One Day series, now they have the chance at winning that Premiership, we need to win this game to ensure that they cannot do the double.

Looking forward to making some runs, I had a decent One Day finals series, bar the first game.

This is it Crusaders, we need to play some of our best cricket here!

Looking forward to this five day match....

We've already knocked them out of the one dayers, lets do the double here Figgies.

They have some dangerous players in that line-up but I'm confident that we can send them home crying here.

Hopefully I can start taking some wickets to go with my economical bowling in the one dayers, with any luck I'll make some runs too.

Don't want to take any catches in the field, maybe some run-outs too? :p

Need to play well here guys. To make the Grand Final we need to overcome the Figjams.

Back at #4 for the Five-Day semi final, looking to continue with my good form from games 2 and 3 of the One Day finals, we really to get off to a good start in this game, hopefully the bowlers can take a few early wickets if we bowl first, or if we bat first, the opening partnership will be successful.

Rumour has it the Figjams players were spotted at one of South Australia's prestigous gay nightclubs just after the one-day win.

Rumour also has it that it was ToonArmy who knew all the gay nightclubs in South Australia, and took them on a party bus around all of the gay nightclubs :cool:
