Ganguly part of Champions Trophy probables

The estranged former Indian captain was included in a list of 30 probables for the Champions Trophy. VVS Laxman and Anil Kumble also return from a long hiatus. Notable exceptions include Laxmipathy Balaji and Murali Kartik, both recovering from injuries.

hm....but mostly he'll be out when they cut the list shorter to the final 15..this is just to show that they are giving him a "chance"....lets see...well he hasnt really done much in county..

i disagree with that he has done alot...its not easy to have over 10000 runs in odi...thats almost as good as tendulkar and inzy and dravid. im happy to see atleast this time they are considering him

As I read on cricinfo today, the ICC made the rule that list of 30 porbables has to be released a certain amount of days before the tournament. I'm pretty sure India would have selected a similar 15 to the one that will play in the sri lanka tri, series; one that doesn't include Ganguly

Hey i agree he is a good player and has done lots for India...but what i meant to say is that he hasn't got much runs for his county club..which he is currently playing for..so the selectors wont really consider him in the 15 squad...i hope he is given a chance though...
