haileybury

where are they going now?

absoulutely smashed by xavier yesterday by 120 runs, where are they going to head too now?

They are a good outfit just too many selfish players.

patto back bowling after xmas as well as lynch should help a fair bit. they have the potential to knock off other teams. premiership is all but over for them now though.

Re: haileybury

if Patto and lynch play its curtains for who ever plays them (especially carey cos they're spastics), if pattinson bowls no one has got any chance. and he isnt just a name either, fully pledged freak.

ps: we beat them by more. but still onya for killin the arogant pricks. Did they have a winge after?

Re: haileybury

Lynch did nothin against carey last year.... just got smashed.... be interesting to see how he goes this year.... as for patto... no need for him to be mentioned.... pure freak

Yeah okay mate, good to see you're well informed, as a matter of fact, he took 3/18 (12) in the first innings and 3/35 (12) in second innings, also making 34 in the first innings. If that is nothing then you obviously know nothing about cricket and have no credibility whatsoever, how about you actually check the facts before you start talking next time????

Re: haileybury

who are you to question his credibililty, mate these figures were on dunshea oval were 3 an over is like 5 on any other, so while brainex may not be completely right your complete and uneccesary over reaction is not apreciated. you can never right hailerbury off however if they lose this week i agree that bowling patto would be pointless the kid is destined for bigger and better things, although it would be cool to be able to say you faced him when hes playing for Australia or something.

He has a long way to go to play for Australia, especially consuidering how bad his back is now, if its so bad now think about how bad it might be in 5 years. Not righting the kid off as he has undoubtable talent, its just a matter of how his body holds up.

Brett Lee f***ed his back when he was young, look what he's doing now. Same with Jason Gillespie. Most heat bowlers f@$k their backs as kids.

The All Rounder, you fail to remember that lynch made 2 in the second innings, caught by chancellor off the most stupidly awesome catch ever seen in APS cricket. His inning went as such: He was dropped first ball off an absolute sitter, next ball he edged through the slips for two, then the next ball he nicked again but chancellor (who later claims to have not seen the ball) took one of the most impossibly insane catches ever taken. 2 metres behind him, one handed at around third slip (chancellor was at 2nd).

haha we could keep going all day, but now that you mention chancellor, he did have an awesome game himself, making 2 & 0, (dismissed both times by Lynch :p) for an opening bastman, who is supposed to at least survive the new ball, he is an embarrasment. You think Lynchy did nothing, i hate to see what you have to say about Chancellor's insipid performance! Oh yeah, well played too, getting rolled for 65 inside a session and then almost capitulating in the last over losing 3 wickets, avoiding an outright defeat by the narrowest of margins. Case rested!

Re: haileybury

fair call, chancellor had a shocking year last year and he is the first to admit, but he has shown character by staying strong and started this year very solidly, plus in the second dig chancellor received an abosulte shocker of an LBW and even lynch admitted that,

Re: haileybury

Haileybury really shouldnt lose a game after christmas, so the pressure will be on Xavier to keep winning, i think Hailibury will knock off MGS witch will be the end of them.

Well it looks like Patto HAS come a long way. How good is this guy gonna be ? Didn't even play Under 19 champs, but still got selected for Australian Under 19 side. How good is that ?

Re: haileybury

well considering hes played like 3 years young for 19s and has a bushrangers rookie contract he woulda been hard done by to not be selected bloody good bat aswell

Just getting selected for Aussie U19 tells you he must be class. However what has he done in APS cricket so far 79 against GC !!!! Will he be playing in the 2008 season or does he get tied up with Country commitments. Why with such a great player did Hailbury lose their one dayers against and Wesley of all teams!!!Are they able to come back ????

MATE, YOU OBVIOUSLY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT PATTINSON, he played as a batsman before christmas becasue his back was stuffed, need i remind you, actually i probably do, but last year he did taker 7/20 off 10 against Caulfield.. and also 7/30 against wesley the year before, so he has actually dominated the APS..
