Though I'm not sure where it will be on your phone there should be an option to turn of 'keytones' somewhere in the options. It's normally in the main phone or sound settings menu.

This might help. Go to Settings, then Ring Styles and select Detail. Then scroll down until you reach to Key Volume, select it and set it to zero.

Eugh, i agree with one of the comments above, buy a new phone :p. Motorola's are the most useless phones out there, poorly made with crap software. The new Nokia's are going a similar way, Sony Ericsson are the make to have atm. The phones are made well, always run well, decent pc software and great phone software. The only Nokia really worth a buy is the N95, and you'd only need one of them if you need the functions of a smartphone, which tbh, not many people do.

ok, so which sony ericsson should I buy? I would prefer a slider, and it needs to have large music capacity and some cool games.

Hmm, I'm not a fan of slider phones, so can't help, I'd much prefer a SE Candybar phone.

580i is a horrible looking thing, my sisters got one. The slide doesnt work properly, its far too hard to slide the thing up. I own a w850i and its amazing, sturdily made (i've annoyingly dropped it on concrete a few times and its still in perfect condition), great keypad, great software, it's just an awesome phone, if you ignore the crap camera anyway. If i was going to buy a new phone i'd definetly go for a K850i. Great camera, not a slider, but very nice looking, best phone available atm. I'd still be tempted by an iPhone though, but thats only because i'm an Apple wh0re :p

Lolz, ignore what i said about Nokia's being crap earlier in the thread. I'm in the process of ordering a Nokia N95 for £260 :laugh: It is one of the only decent Nokia's that have come out in recent times though, how can you ignore Gps, 8gb memory, 5MP camera, it's the full shabbang. Looking forward to getting it :D.

ok so which sony ericsson phone do you think is the best and why???i know that you all mentioned the K850i but my brother got one and i guess its great but i wonder whose dumb idea it was to put the dpad around the 2 and 5 buttons and then have touch sensitive select buttons at the top that are difficult and annoying to use....so i am trying to decide which one to get....im looking for a walkman and the two that I have leaned towards are the w580i and the w910i........the ideal phone for me would be the nokia N81 but that is beyond my price limit for now....
