Just saw the score and laughed coming across this. Fair effort by Anderson to get 81, he's one of the worst number 11's currently playing international cricket.

Good on him but I was glad when he got out when he did, it just would not be right him actually getting a test ton lol.
 
4/192 now, Ali and Ballance doing a pretty good job at the moment.

Saw photos of the pitch yesterday and it looked like the outfield in some patches it was that green. Thought the test would struggle to go past three and a half days but it looks as if we should edge past that mark.
 
England finish the day at 6 for 219, pretty even at this stage. Poms really should have taken better advantage of the conditions on day 1 though.
 
10 tests for England now without a win and they haven't lost two home series in the one season since 1986.

Cook closer to getting the axe by the test at this stage. Unless things rapidly improve you'd think he'll get the chop once the series is done.
 
So Jadeja has been found guilty of a level one offence and fined 50% of his match fee. Of course India are unhappy with that and Dhoni has spoken out in support of his player.

Anderson's hearing into his level three offence is on 1 August.
 
So the 3rd Test starts tonight with an under fire England absolutely desperate for a win, Cook will be under a blowtorch if they lose this. Go India!
 
England 1 for 78 at lunch with only the loss of Robson, looks to be turning into a pretty good day and pitch for batting out there.
 
So Ballance picking up a century but Captain Cook failing 5 runs short, England looking towards setting a massive total at 2 for 247.
