Inter-Forum World Cup Interest

So we missed out on the International Series due to lack of interest, lets not miss out on the world cup too! Fender has asked us to try and get a team together for the Inter-Forum world cup, and I'd like to get an entry together. We need a squad of 13-15 posting players, and you are NOT eligible if you are already a part of another forum's representative team.

C'mon now lads, let's get fired up and see a resurrection of the BigCricket Sloggers!!!

But it's a matter of getting people to play, that is the problem. I haven't seen some regular posters on here for a while now which is worrying.

I will give this a go and I hope the others will follow.

I wouldn't mind if BF don't pick me up, which thanks to a screenname mistake is looking unlikely.

Good call Ljp! Pretty good response so far, but lets get a solid squad to go boys. I'm working on a tour in the near future to get our form up - details to come once we have a bigger commitment!

i'll play, im back from a long holiday so i'll be posting full time now and my playing ability is 2nd to none!

We now have 11 which gives us the minimum amount of players. Will need a few more now to cover all the player types for the squad.

Great response thus far lads. Need at least 13 for a proper squad, and we're allowed even more than that. Wouldn't it be something if we had to select a squad?!?!?! Go the Sloggers.

OK, I've taken the liberty of compiling what we have so far, sorted by player type. The number in parentheses is the number of those players we should take with us on the tour, in my opinion. Keep posting here if you're interested, and feel free to make nominations of players you think would fill the spots well but who haven't posted yet.

That leaves 5 positions vacant. Just need a few more players to sign up and we will be able to take away a full squad over to StickSports.
