Krejza or Hauritz?

Re: Krejza or Hauritz?

Meh. Not huuuuge fans of both. Hauritz is a more solid option. Krejza has more x-factor. In a must-win game, I'd choose Hauritz, but with an eye to the future, Krazy.

Re: Krejza or Hauritz?

Krejza for me.
Hauritz doesnt look like a wicket taker or a dangerous bowler. Watching him bowl, this might sound funny but he looks like one of those ' dead bowlers '
who doesnt have that zip in his bowling compared to others such as Vettori.
Krejza might be abit expensive but he surely is a wicket taker.

Re: Krejza or Hauritz?

Krajzer for test matches and hauritz for one dayers. but it krajzer becomes more econimical he should be tried at one day level.

Re: Krejza or Hauritz?

Hauritz for me, he is a dangerous bowler and takes wickets in crucial times & a handy tailender.

Krejza can bowl spin for sure, but he gets belted.

Re: Krejza or Hauritz?

Krazy-J's bowling in the T/20 has been very good and has looked very dangerous.

I reckon it will teach him to bowl a little more defensively than he has in the past

Re: Krejza or Hauritz?

hauritz for me.
he can take the odd wicket at crucial times and is less expenisive.
also knows how to hit a ball well

Re: Krejza or Hauritz?

Hauritz because he is economical and, although he doesn't look as dangerous as Krezja, he DOES take wickets. Whether it be by annoying batsmen into playing big shots or with a rare good ball he has taken wickets consistantly. He doesn't have the ability to bowl out teams on Day 5, but on Days 1-4 he is a better option IMO.

Agreed, But if Krejza learns to tighten it up he should get the gig.

Hauritz is defiantly a better choice for ODI's.

In a test match you have to take 10 wickets twice and even though he is more expensive I think Krejza is a better spinner for this form of the game.

As soon as Krejza learns to tighten up his bowling he is straight into the team for mine.
I'm sure that's the selectors comments to him to.

We don't have a match winning spinner in our ranks at the moment, so if its a bland pitch, we need the spinner to just tie up an end, build pressure by not allowing many runs and that allow the quicks to get some wickets at the other end.

Its what Hauritz was brought in to do, and did his job in Sydney.

If Crazy can tighten it up- I'd rather have him though! ;)

Re: Krejza or Hauritz?

Special K hands down.

Krejza takes wickets; accuracy and and abilty to tie down an end will come with experience.

Hauritz is a hack. Before he was picked for Australia he could get a game for NSW.

Hauritz is a more reliable option in one dayers for the moment but once krejza get control he should be in th odi team as well
