I would have to advise you to tread carefully when looking at sites that offer sport for free. The software they ask you to install can be loaded with spyware.

Is it malicious spyware or just the marketing type that then bombards you with advertising? Actually I don't want either and it'll probably be a nightmare for my security protection software?

I have experienced many applications like this. These are completely fraud . They will send Adwares,Malwares and Spywares to your computer. They may also steal your Cookies or secret data.
I'll advice you not to Install this.

Sypware is always malicious. Adware will bombard you with popups and ads.
If they are asking for a subscription fee they probably wont ask you to download a software full of adware, but its highly likely that their service is illegal.

Its completely illegal. No T.V channel give rights to Internet Streaming Service however they may stream their channel on their Official websites. (Correct me if i am wrong)

Just stick to typing in the web address from the radio stations that you like to listen to.
Use Windows media player.
Don't go to look for actual sites that show the coverage live because it's full of spyware and it can stuff up your pc really badly.

Abc radio australia have the radio rights. Foxsports have the broadcasting rights.

Yeah I tried some of the sites knowing full well it was dodgy and yeah you're right it was Virus City. Ended up having to reload windows disc and starting afresh as the computer got completely mangled.

lol just know that no business firm would give anyone else the content they paid millions for, and that too for free!

Sopcast (p2p streaming) in itself in perfectly legal, in the same way that bittorrent is perfectly legal, and the official Sopcast software is completely malware-free. It is illegal, however, to re-broadcast the transmission of a television network without their permission, which is what Sopcast is used for 90% of the time. Typically, live sport will always fall under this banner of 'unauthorised re-broadcasts' and as such be illegal. Like most forms of online piracy, however, the chances of being prosecuted for simply viewing these channels are virtually nox-existent, as the copyright holders will tend to chase to people who rebroadcast their channels, rather than those who watch them.

Unoffically talking here, sopcast does work although it can be hard to find the right channels from time to time, or they're of poor quality.

I'm sure I recall watching one or two which has been someone sticking a camcorder in front of the television, complete with people walking in front of it.

you could try[link removed] , their p2p streams are free and their software is virus free and works on the same principals as sopcast and tvu
