Madrid Magic Family Carnival Competition

Hello and welcome to the Madrid Magic Family Carnival Competition! The vice-captains of the side have each picked their individual sides and the games will begin shortly. Here is a preview of the series:

The Sensational's come into this series as underdogs due to their weak batting line up. They do have a very strong bowling attack, but will it be enough? The ET's batting line up is very good but their bowling line-up lacks depth. It'll be the classic battle of bat vs. ball.

Players to watch:
siddle2franklin
The captain of the Sensationals will be one to watch. He's looked on fire in the nets and has recently scored 3 centuries in domestic competition.
Edge
His opposite number has also been in supreme touch. Opening the innings, he looks right at home. Rumour has it he may even get the opening gig for the Magic.
Breeno
The best bat in the competition. His skill is unrivaled and his temperament stuff of legend. The man himself will be playing for the ET's after being chosen with pick one.
Mousey
The left arm spinner and captain of the Magic makes an appearance for the Sensationals after going as pick two. Expect consistency.

I think we will have the advantage on the poor pitch they will have to work to get us all out :)

The pitchs bowling boost should be enough the fire up our bowlers and get us home here

Wow, a big win the the ET's. 8 wickets, who would have thought? With a bowling attack boasting names such as Mousey and The Wizz 10 wickets should have been easy to get. They fell 8 short though and Edge takes a 1 game lead in the best of 3 series. Diablo was man of the match for his effort of 4/26 from almost his full eight.

At the end if you want to (or I can to it) we can make a most runs,wickets etc.

GAME 2: Excellent Pitch

ET's go into this game confident after destroying the Sensationals last match. The eight wicket win was a great display of allround circket. They bowled them out then progressed to lose just 2 wickets as danger men Edge and Breeno easily accounted for the great bowling attack of the Sensationals. ET's go into this game $1.65 favourites.

Stuff ET's, me and edge leading the way, with our bowlers mauling them on the excellent pitch.

If you want, this weekend I might get a round robin going. Maybe even Test Matches.
