Match Thread: England vs. India, Headlingley, 5th ODI
I think Dimmi would be the likely substitute if Flintoff fails to recover in time. But, I think India would miss Zaheer more than England would miss Flintoff, considering how bad we have bowled (despite the atypical first half of the second innings in the 4th ODI). Zaheer has also contributed to the batting with his 20-run cameos at the end of the innings.
It'll be interesting to see the side India puts up, as Dravid & co. try to save the series.

[quote="Michael":e4802]301-4 and two overs are remaining. England will struggle unless they have a very good start.[/quote:e4802]
324 is needed to win. Remember, they did do it in 2002 but the team is very different now <m><a>http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/ci/engin ... 66292.html</a><m>

Prior gone! He was looking much better than he ahs so far this series, much more orthodox as well. Bell in good form still and we have to hope Pietersen can show his world class talent. Need Bell to make a 100+ and Pietersen 50+

Pietersen makes 0! He has became crap in ODI's overnight. He just can't hit the ball out of the middle. I really think he should go play for Hampshire until end of the season and then be ready for 20/20 world championships...
