Check inside the helmet as they often have little foam pads that can be removed for comfort. Failing that it's either a case of making your head smaller or buying a new helmet.

I've seen it happen!
Seriously though, cricket helmets are one piece moulded shells, so there are no parts to loosen.
As I said, some have foam bits that you can add/remove for comfort but generally once it's too small, it's too small.
