New Zealand v India Match Thread

First game up in the super 8's.

Interesting game, you'd think that NZ would prefer the twenty20 format but I think India will come out on top here.

the match is at wanderes so the team should scores more than 180..i cant wait for the match today

Match is about to start in 15 minutes. India won the toss and chose to field. Could be a good decision considering that its an early start.

india got one wicket...very  good catch by karthik!!!! the ball is swinging they should get more wickets. irfan pathan should bowl now

India are doing well here, three wickets have fallen in succession for the kiwis. They need to get Oram, if he gets going he can make a huge difference to the total.

I'm sure, like myself, many of you must have been watching the India vs New Zealand game today. I must say, be it due to the Kiwis' great batting or the Indians' poor bowling; 88 runs off the last 5 overs (I think, correct me if I'm wrong!) was awesome!

I thought that India had the game covered after seeing the dashing start made by Sehwag and Gambhir but New Zealand did a great job pulling it back afterwards.

A close finish and a great game of cricket!

What did you guys think of the match?

A very exciting game indeed. India made a mess of it imo. Sehwag and Gambhir provided a brilliant start after Sehwag got out they needed about 8.5 RPO which should have been easily manageable for the Indians. But they faded away slowly. Credit must be given to Daniel Vettori who bowled excellently but Indians must have gone after other bowlers. Kiwis also batted well in the end overs to get to 190 even after losing 5 wickets rather early. But I feel we faltered in the end overs, Agarkar as always went for a lot of runs and if we have to win the next two games we must get rid of him.

Well as for Cricket lover this is perfact match of good bowling from Harbhajan and Vettori and good batting from Sehwag and Oram. India had a good start but as normal, middle order collapsed. I think Dhoni's runout was a important moment for New Zealand. I am happy to see good batting from Sehwag.
