Very well said tubby Where you from fella?, gladdy, taylors leave it for the field and have a good go it it there. As for me i hope we can improve and challenge both your lists which are the best 2 in the league! Rivalry VERY HEALTHY but lets not make up stories and get too personal! I stay in touch with Weza and he was never going anywhere but Gladdy or Buckley. He did have a word to Thomas on the phone but i was lead to believe it was never going any further! Just a friendly discussion.
We missed out but we get Dean and maybe a secret or two up our sleeve!!!!!

BOYS,
The comp is getting stronger by the year, people bag the hard wickets but all i can say is we really do have some talent these days...especially between TL & GP, years ago no shep, markham, thomas, lee, markham..........youth like hare tripp, lee again, ama, lindsay. Boys maybe you argue bcos you both have great teams but i hope there is some respect for eachother ............after all its park cricket

you have got no idea you fool!!!!

as per usual talking out your ass!!!!

lets leave it for the field fella, no use debating it on here!!

Just keep talking it up mate and we will just keep on slapping you down on the field again and agian and again!!!!

I am looking forward to the new year, Looking forward to seeing the comp get stronger with the likes of Buckly, Sydenham, Kealba all picking up!!! Packo will be as strong as ever and a bunch of good blokes as well and Roxy I hope continue to move forward!!! With a bit of luck Gladdy may miss out on the finals!!!

Who has sydenham picked up....no words have been said exept for the possible retirements of mulholland, wilson and lorimer......theyl need to pick up by the sounds of it....very young side....will lack experince if those guys hang up the whites

Mate by the sounds of it you wont be on the field to take up that offer!! the amount of names that taylors have 'apparently' picked up you might be struggling to get a game!!!

Re: North West Cricket Association

I think for all those older guys to stay they would need to get some recruits to show they have a chance of playing finals, otherwise i think they will retire.

I wonder who will get a game, the fixture might read

bp vs gladdy
syd vs rox
camp vs paco
kealba vs TL/VICTORIA

think they are better than everyone else.

Two flags in a row and no losses in two-day games for two years suggests they probably are better than everyone else.

It's one thing to think you're better than everyone else when you're not, it's another to know it when you are.

whilst most players play for the love of the club The lions play for the love of the coin if the money dried up tommorrow they might have 3 of their existing players still there.

16 of 22 players in the Luscombe/Stringer GF's played juniors at TLCC.

Why will the coin dry up?
Who is bank rolling TLCC?

thrown massive coin at Shep (who does not get paid one single dollar)

That's right, we all know why Shep didn't get paid in 06/07

GladdyBoy, I see you had no come back for this post!!!!!

Apart from that I give me great pleasure to be able to announce that the deep fryer at the lakes will have to produce more Chico rolls of a Thursday night after the signing of Turner, Smart and another player from Yarraville Club just as players for the upcomming season!!!

The MidnightFryer is also proud to announce that a captain coach was also signed, unable to name him yet because he has not informed his club, but i can tell you all that it will cause shockwaves around the NWCA, that a player of his standard would even contemplate plying his trait in the NWCA.

Good work to all at TL

If it is true that Smart is going to the Lakers then he will/(should) be the highest paid player as well as the best in the comp. Was on good coin at Yarraville and can bat and bowl. Age is catching up on Turner but will still make runs on the hard wickets.

Are Taylors the NWCA equivilent of Greenvale of the EDFL????

Interesting stat cutlet and I bet perhaps 27 of 33 were born and bred if you add NWCA as well no one gives a damn about Stringer mate how many in th luscombe side.

The amount of money you guys pay makes me sick the only good thing that comes from it is the unity that it creates amoungst the rest of the sides hating your guts and willing you to fall over your wallets then we will all be pissing ourselves....

Stringer breeds Luscombe players.

7 of 11 from Luscombe.
8 from 12 if you include the 12th Man.

TLCC's success all started on the back of a 2's flag.

That unity is great, but only on of you gets to play Lakes at a time.
The unity that comes from being hated is much stronger than that.

Tell us, how much do the Lakes pay?

For a Wiseman, you make yourself look pretty silly.

Well if stringer breeds luscombe players why the hell do Taylors Lakes go out and spend big coin on recruiting big name players?

Why cant you do what every other club does and work with what you got and develop culture and history instead of buying it?

You say "unity is great", well why is it that there is people from taylors lakes saying they dont like their coach? (past coach)

Why does my son tell me that players he knows at taylors arent happy with how they are treated?

Why was one of your younger players happy to speak to another club?

That my friend does not show unity!

I think this will only come back to bite Taylors in the years to come, wether it be 2 or 5 years, maybe more, but when it does it will hurt!!

Re: North West Cricket Association

There are a few that are still really good blokes what it is imo is that because they were s*&t for so long they have no yet worked out how to be humble in victory where as you look at sides like Paccoe that have always been winners they handle themselves with great dignity. Im sure as it looks like they will be strong for a while they will figure out how to be good winners instead of getting on websites telling everyone how good they are.

Re: North West Cricket Association

I was told by a source who is good mates with a Taylors player that they are yet to sign a coach so all this g turner stuff is BULL SHI_!

Anyway i have had enough of talking about TL, whats news around other clubs?

Re: North West Cricket Association

Hey lets give some players some good feedback, for instance even though they play on the oppisite side "WHICH BATSMEN DO YOU LIKE WATCHING".

EG, Mark mcperson from Bp i think has a great technique and if he gets in dominates bowling attacks.

Shep - makes it look easy etc

Ama singh, always looks good

Whats are some of the best innings witnessed?

Like you said Wise, it looks as though they will be a power again so we can only HOPE the NEW coach can contain a few of the other players and there bragging etc
