massive loss for roxy park especially after making the granny and him being one of the main reasons they got there,surely they would get rid of russel and keep killa there seeing he is the future.any other news on new players being recruited as im sure there would be quite a few coaches starting to talk to recruits.
heard a couple of rumors through footy can anyone correct me
Taylors-have lost thomas and s lee and have not recruited anyone from yarraville club
Gladdy-have they lost p viani
roxy-lost killa and the old essendon grammer recruits from last year
kealba-picked up 2 or 3 players from sunshine with catania
buckley park-picked up a couple players from douttas not sure on names
sydenham-lost a couple players in mullholland,wilson
pacco-picked up killa
campbellfield-are they going to be relegated for clarkfield or donnybrook
again just sum things ive heard but may be just people talking crap

Mate, are you all there. Essendon is not another NWCA club. So what if his dad plays there. imagine 3 brothers playing in a district 1st XI team. what an achievement and something to remember. After talking to a couple of guys tonight from other clubs down the pub he has the potential to do extremly well. More natural ability then the other two who have done extremly well.

russell had a go at him....after day 1 and was nearly all in is wat i got told!!

Killa is a pretty head strong kid and when he makes his mind up on leaving would be hard to change it!!---so good luck keepin him roxy!!!

I'll giv u this 1.....budge said the Lee's werent moving on
Kealba hav only picked up catania....atm....although theyr pretty keen on a few others..no 1 else frm sunshine..spoke to mudford who theyv been after on the w/e he said hes gunna play TLCC 6ths....
Mulholland and wilson....where they go???....what about lorimer...surley he'd go wif them....and hackney...what about him....
-thats it.....its those 4 names there....TLCC new recruits.... U GOOSE!!

Listen here as i wrote in my post i had only heard these rumours and i didnt know if they were true as they are only RUMORS,and if u read my post properly its says that it mite be crap because i heard of other people therefore that why i wanted to ask on here if anyone could veriffy if any of these were true.
So by the sounds of things u know budge and hes told u sum facts about the lee brothers and there staying so that answers one of my rumors.
secondly how do u know who kealba have picked up if u are not from that club,
thirdly,i didnt say they have gone i said HEARD they had mite of retired.
so before u go calling me a GOOSE ,how bout u read the post right before u going carrying on,

only joking about russell and johny, russell is coach again and johny will be named captain he has been at the club since he was 12 and he will only leave to go to turf but in a year or two and we havent lost anyone as con and matty have committed to another year but we have signed a couple of good players from a different comp.

Viani doesn't go on this and doesn't give a rats ass at the petty little remarks from jealous trouble makers. You wouldn't even know who gullyrat is anyway. Lots of people bad mouthing the lakers , don't know why as we are the best team regardless of what people think. We will win 3 in a row as glady are too far up themselves and aren't smart enough to know who is who in that backstabbing environment. Lots of 2 headed snakes in that place , be careful who is who Keasty.I agree with a comment earlier , Johnny and Shep would struggle to make 500 on taylors ground.....not because they can't bat but the ground is twice the size .....simple ,so Gladyboy take it easy and stop taking everything so personal. Imagine Tuddy, markham ( ours ) tripp, hare, wilson even barney at campbellfield would make a heap of runs at the glady. Johnny and shep are clearly the best bats no doubt but that ground gives them an advantage, if anything Glady bowlers should be talked up bowling on the 20 cent piece. Concentrate on footy boys and stop bad mouthing everyone like little boys. thats it for me .

I dont agree with you lion, we bat on a small ground every second week and i find the open spaces at taylors give you bigger gaps to hit thru, i also know taylors get chances to bat on bp glady paco who are small fast grounds. good bats make runs anywhere. I remember you guys losing at our ground being bowled out for 130 in 07/08so what happened to your superstar bats that day on a 20 cent peice???? you still have to hit the ball and find gaps no matter what ground or pitch

What was one of the two games they have lost in two years, even the Lakes are allowed to have bad days!!
I agree Lion, Gladdy batsmen get a good 100 to 150 run head start over other sides!
You can not say the gaps are bigger at the Lakes as the fielders still field the same distance from the bat no matter what ground you play on, so you can disreguard that comment!
The truth of the matter is that the Lakes have been the best side in it for 2 years and they must have the best batting line up and evryone would agree they have the best Bowling attack in the comp!
All other sides have a long way to catch up to them but I hope they do make up some ground!

Heard a new one around the traps......
Gladdy are very close to signing tht player from essendon 2s-3s that was spoken about on here a few weeks ago....Could that player be Thomas Godsell? Juniors at abers very handy bat......and very confident on winning the flag...............

I will find out how true that is and let everyone know asap. But I cant imagine the G train leaving Essendon station for Gladdy Park anytime soon. He loves playing on Windy Hill.

Spoke to Tommy. He knows nothing about it.
I really couldnt see anyone going from the 2nds or 3rds at Essendon (who won the premiership) to Gladdy apart from A.Greaney.
