i know he is from riverside but where was he playing before that?

Matty Flaherty, Iden younis, Definatelyy a better place now. lots more people turning up for training nd thurday night meals. The buzz is back at roxy!!!:D
Going to be one hell of a youngg side!! Daniel English has taken over as captain.

Maybe CCC should look at Ilmy Azar playing in the lower grades at Taylors Lakes....now that is a gun bat

not too sure about the gladdy players but i know for a fact that they have signed a player from Riverside in the diamond valley comp (i think) some guy by the name of Scott gibbs,will play as an allrounder and supposed to be a absolute gun from what i have heard he is good mates with one of the boys.
i have checked him out on my cricket and this boy can seriously play
will be the best cricketer in the NWCA by a mile

Can anyone from Taylors confirm the rumour that budgie has been dropped to the two's this match.If so is his luscombe career near the end.

Gibbo is an absolute Freak, if that is true get on CCC for the flag now......

Cant confirm but if it is the case then you would have to say his Luscombe career is over, with a good batch of young players down there he is going to struggle to get back!!

Half season round up from me.
I would be interested to hear other peoples thoughts as well.

Gladdy:The team to beat there top 5 batters are making runs and a good consistent bowling attack.

Taylors:Not much has changed with there bowling but there bats have not performed as well as previous years.If Lee can fire are still a big threat.

Pacoe:Same as Taylors I think there batting besides Tripp has fallen away.

Sydneham:plodding along but are still a fair way off the pace.Hackney and Wilson need to lead from the front and get some big scores.

Kealba:Reasonable bowling attack but there bats are very scarce can't see them making a score that would worry anyone in the top four.


Buckley park:Sad start to the season with the passing of Millsy top bloke and a great cricketer and competetitor.Would of liked to have achieved a bit more considering there side lots of good players but I think there bottom 3 or 4 are not up to it.If Erdo and Macca can fire may still make finals.

Campbellfield:Big improvement picked a couple of handy players.Noddy and Hassan the big keys and on there day could suprise the top sides consistency the big question for them.

Roxburgh Park:Absolute rabble that over achieved last year too many big heads and not enough loyal players.Killer the only stand out.

big games today for paco and gp, also camp and bp as the winner can still play finals.

Results today,

pacco beat gladdy
kealba beat sydenham
roxy beat taylors
ccc vs bp havent heard

very interesting way to end the first half of the year.
Gladdy lose the last 2 after looking unbeatable,taylors are abit shaky but still there abouts,kealba starting to push,campbellfield suprising.guna be a very good d2nd half of the year

CCC by 6 Wickets got the 186 required in the 35th over. Berry, Ingvorsen, W. Carton all amoungst the runs again!!

Great win by all the boys and id like to congratulate Captain English on a great knock. And yes all of them are loyal players, the big heads are gone!

Great effort indeed, everyone loves the underdog without a doubt the upset of the season considering the last 2 weeks events.

Good on Ando ripper bloke!

well done to ando, chunky, and all the other young boys on the weekend an outstanding effort by all. also a disgraceful effort from taylors lakes on the field got way too cocky too early and it came back and bit them on the but "hard", one upside to them they come back and had a beer..... onya parkers!!

i also want to say what a win by the young roxy side against taylors who...
great knock by captain english and a good knock from ando as well. this is gonna change roxy around now that the 1st 11 is made up of 6 -7 players under the age of 21, we dnt need those other players any more. :)
