Round Seven was the round for the bottom two sides with Nairobi and the Western Wizards both recording wins. Madrid stay on top of the ladder but were well and truly outgunned by the Nuggets, conceding another bonus point in the process. Nairobi are the only side that Madrid have lost to in the one-day season and are proving to be their bogey side so far, having also lost the round four test to the Nuggets.

Kingston stay second after losing to the Wizards in a bizarre batting effort. The Cheetahs' batters struggled during the middle overs but managed to bat 50 overs albeit very slowly and struggled to score for most of the innings which included three lower order ducks.

Western Wizards consolidate third after accounting for the Cheetahs and the win takes them to just over a game behind the second placed Kingston side. Nairobi remain on the bottom of the ladder but will be buoyed by another win over Madrid and they are the only side to topple the Magic in the 50-over format so far this season. Once again, their win was another bonus point victory and they'll be looking to continue that form into the final few rounds.

Round Seven has evened up the ladder somewhat but the bottom two sides still have a bit of work to do to break into the top two.
